I sent an email to NVC on 08.04 and got response today :D during that time my case already left the NVC and it is with US embassy. Just call them, it is much faster than waiting for them to respond.

If your having problems with the CEAC site timing out when looking up your case it's because the system is trying to cross reference the immigrant case number with the non immigrant AA number.  You select Non-Immigrant from the drop down menu and select the proper Embassy location. Then you enter the AA number from your DS-160 number and presto...a much quicker and consistent response. The output is the same but you no longer have the problem with the system timing out while doing the search...

Please, what is the AA number on the noa2 then ? Useless to track?

There's no way to track our case after noa2 except once you get nvc number ?

The AA number he is referring to is the number on the DS- 160 confirmation, that we can use in case of problems with tracking with the NVC number. Luckily I was able to track with NVC number and status is "at NVC

- UCIS issues the WAC # and the A number (NOA2)

- NVC issues the case number starting with 3 letters and 10 numbers

- DS-160 generates the AA# to use on CEAC to search for your case

Called NVC first thing this morning and was advised there was no case number yet assigned. Something told me to call again though in the late morning so I did, and by that time one was assigned! The rep provided both our NVC case number and invoice ID (eligibility letter still pending, to be sent via e-mail). I know our documents likely won't be included in next Tuesday's shipment, but hey you can always hope right? :) Inching ever closer to the finish line!

The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

What did you ask them? If you just  sent in a update to your email address they won't usually  send  confirmation of that. You must ask them to notify you via email once your case arrives  and ask them for notifications once your case number is assigned and your case leaves NVC.
