Hello;

I send my I-130 for my spouse via USPS last week Friday. I got a text message yesterday saying that my application was received, and a IOE receipt number was sent to me saying that the official receipt notice (Form I-797) to follow in the mail. Does this mean my case was approved?  What should I expect.

The mail will say that your petition has been received and accepted into the system with the amount of money that was paid. You will get another mail to sign up for the new myUSCIS account with an access code. The actual approval is still months away.

Hello,

I just submitted my I 130 last week.  I received this case number beginning with IOE.  I can't check the case number on the website.  I'm nervous something went wrong.  It was my belief that it would be forwarded to a service center, but from my research IOE is an e-filing.  It's strange because sent a paper application :(.

Hi everyone, I feel great to join this forum. Let's hope this second time is a charm. I-129F was  file on 1/5/2018 and approved 8/31/2018. Embassy denied (221g) on 11/13/2018 and case sent back to USCIS for further case review. Case was received by USCIS on 2/21/2019 but no progress only stories. I guess they left case to expire. USCIS and CEAC status shows Name was updated and Administrative Processing respectively. In march, 2019 applied for son born abroad (Cameroon) CRBA and U.S. Passport and they were both approved. However no news on fiancee visa. Long story short. I traveled to Cameroon  in June, 2019 after discussion on phone with a USCIS supervisor (Tier 2 supervisor request) and he recommended I go marry abroad because fiance I-129F petitions expires after 4 months whereas I-130 expires after 1 year. So I married my wife and recently file I-130 on 7/31/2019 through mail and case was received/ registered by USCIS with an IOE case number. Hope case will be process fast. Fingers crossed. Now the new Journey begins.

So we submitted the I 130 last week Friday 08/01/19 through lawyers office, just saw that the check was cashed by USCIS chicago lockbox yesterday, but I haven't received an email, text or any notice in the mail. Do i need to call USCIS or just sit and wait? Thanks

So today, i received the I 797C receipt case has been received and accepted. Signed up online using my receipt number, my case is being handled at the Texas Service Center. Look at their processing time frames and it shows i have a 8.5-10month wait, gives me plenty of time to file I 485.

Hi All,

I'm also filling an I-130 for my spouse. I received my first NOA with receipt number starting with IOE on August 9, 2019, letter come from Texas service center. is it true what I've been reading  here in this forum, about the  2 month approval for IOE receipts?

Did you get an IOE receipt? Did you get approved quick? how was your experiences?

Regards,

Luis
