hello everyone!

just wondering,

How long did you guys study for the test?? did you guys use the book or online? I think it would be extremely helpful to know 😊

There are so many resources available both online and offline. You can also check out YouTube as well, USCIS citizenship civics' booklet, USCIS.gov,  Play store app on citizenship study questions, etc. 1 month is sufficient to know those answers by heart and recite. Good luck to you!

Thank you! Feel nervous about tomorrow. To add in something extra the company I worked for closed it doors last week and I was laid off that day. So let's see how that goes explaining that part tomorrow!

I post an update afterwards

Thanks

@emerlee85, to answer your question.

*Immigration officer- "Are you currently working?" "What do you do for a living?" Or "How do you support yourself?"

*Emerless85 response- Currently I'm not working. I was working at XYZ company, but just got laid off. If this was your only job and the one you placed on your application nothing to worry about.

Be prepared to answer, sometimes the officer might want to know the date of  employment.

Good luck!

Got the notification from USCIS today that an interview date for my wife has been set! Now we wait for the letter. I'm very surprised, as she had literally logged in earlier today and it still said the estimated time of completion was still June 2020.

(haha whoops, meant to post this in March filers, and I can't seem to figure out how to delete this!)
