So, welcome ur newest usc 😁😁.

I was 33 minutes late but , it was ok because there was a lot of people waiting to get registered. Around 9:30am , I registered and received my number ; then had to wait till everyone was registered. At 10:00am we practiced the ceremony before the judge entered the courtroom. Shortly after that , the judge entered the courtroom. They started with the presentation of colors then the invocation and a violinist played the star spangled banner. Then the immigration officer spoke and said how many nationalities and countries were present. Also how many were changing their names. Then the judge ordered all motions and administration of oath. Before it was over a gentleman gave a speech on how he came with nothing to this country 10 years ago , and he’s now a leader in the community and has multiple degrees and restaurants and how we should change our life and serve our community. Then we received our neutralization certificate , took some pictures with the judge and other city members. Then it was over  😁😁

oh, I forgot to mention, we also got registered to vote !

Wooohoo! Congrats Heley:-D So glad it all worked out despite traffic! 0.0 Now go celebrate!!! 😄

Thank you!! Everything went well. My interview went surprisingly very fast!

- 10:45 AM Get to Denver USCIS. My appointment is at 11:05.

- 11:05 AM Officer called my name and started the interview. He asked me the information on the application, my name, birthday and address. Then he went through Yes/No question on the form.

- 11:15 AM He approved the application. The Interview completed in 10 minutes!

Here’re the civic questions:

1) Who is Susan B Anthony?

2) What is the highest law of US?

3) How many amendments of the constitution?

4) What happened on 9/11?

5) When do we celebrated Independence Day?

6) Who lived in US before the Europeans arrived?

Reading question: Who can vote?

Writing question: Citizen can vote.

I hope everyone process goes smoothly. Good luck guys! 😊

Thank you @Vikingoutwest for keeping track of everything. My journey ended yesterday, it felt great! The ceremony itself was at a stadium, there were 383 of us getting sworn in, so it was not as intimate as @Heley's. We had to wait in a long line to check in, got our baseball tickets, received and then returned our certificate (to pick up later). The ceremony was quite short. Because the number people sworn in, they only announced the countries (84 in total). I admit I choked up a little when mine was announced. It was too sunny and hot so no one stayed for the baseball game and I was told we're not missing out so much anyway :D

Good luck to all of you :).

Well my estimate wait time countdown reached zero today...if anyone is curious what happens: it just changes to "we are taking longer than expected to process your case". On a happier note: I hope everything went well today for AlLeandro and they are out celebrating their new citizenship! 😄

Hello everyone! The waiting game is very nerve-wracking! Looking for other Milwaukee filers around here. I know @_Blossom_ is.

My child is turning 18 in October. This is contributing to the anxiety. My interview was last Aug 8 and I am still waiting on an oath date.

🥺🥺🥺

sorry about how you feel, what is the updated status on your profile?
