I brought what I printed offline. I had a folder of stuff I brought with me to my interview, all my IO asked to see was my green card, nothing else, but I think its great to have lots of evidence with you in case your IO has questions.

Thank you so much guys. I think I’m making a bigger deal than I should out of this. @JBoogie876 it’s relieving to hear that you only had printouts of those “minor” papers and they didn’t even ask for them. I reread the letter I received and they don’t actually say I “must” bring originals of everything, but I “should”, and I will, of the important stuff like id, certificates, gc, etc. I guess the additional evidence isn’t as “crucial” as I may have thought. I’ll bring those anyway, but only the printouts.

Also, last question (so far lol): when I submitted my N-400, idk why but I uploaded both my last three tax transcripts & last three tax returns, which was a little redundant. I didn’t realize at the time how many pages each return had. Will I be okay if I just bring my transcripts?

Thank you

Hi @lex07! Time for your oath tomorrow, woohoo! Congratulations and please come tell us about it:-) I have a question for you too, since I see in the tracker that you (like me) applied under the 5 year rule: Did you upload your own birth certificate with your evidences? I just realized that I didn't and now I am worried it will create an RFE for me...so I was just wondering if you could share what you used for evidence? Thank you and congrats again!

No, I didn't upload my birth certificate. On my online application, I only uploaded my marriage certificate, both of my sons' birth certificates and tax transcripts. I originally only uploaded the 2015-2017 tax transcripts as I hadn't filed the 2018 one when I submitted my online application in early April. After I filed 2018 tax, then I uploaded the 2018 tax transcript.

For the interview, I brought all of the above, plus joint investment and bank account statements, pay stubs and family photos - as I felt maybe I need to bring more as I didn't really provide a lot of evidence on the original application. But during the interview the officer didn't even ask to look at any of the documents - so I didn't bring it up.

Good luck @maestro for the interview tomorrow.

I had my oath ceremony yesterday and can officially say that I'm now a US citizen.

I got there at 8AM (what the letter said to be at the location) and walked out with my certificate around 11:15AM - there were a lot of waiting before and after the ceremony. The actual ceremony started around 10 and was around 45m.
