FYI, i have a lot of friends here in Indiana who applied for citizenship and  got approved within  3 months or less, that’s from submission to oath taking and there are some of them, let say approved today, oath taking the following day.

Congratulation  your approval,

May we know the N400 was based on 5 years or  3 years  ?

I have my interview scheduled for June 25. Excited but super nervous.

I am in Columbus office and the N400 application is based on the 5 years rule. I have my GC for almost 10 yrs now (based on marriage).

It was a nice surprise when I randomly checked my online account today after reading this thread. But the weird thing is I never got an email notification about it. I haven't checked my online account in awhile, but have been checking my emails everyday. I ran out to the mailbox and found the interview letter (haven't checked the mail also in a few days).

@lex07, I'm not surprised. Your field office is one of the fastest offices for N400. Congratulations and don't be nervous. Just study the civics questions, review N400 application and remember the answers thereof.

Congrats to those who has interview date already. I am here struggling with even biometric in 1 of location in SW Houston. I tried to walk in 1 week prior in appointment, the security guy turned me down. I went there on my appointment date, and they closed due to increment weather. There is no new scheduling yet in the system. Then I tried to walk in again on Tuesday, and they turned me down again and asked to do re-scheduling. What a hassle office.

I did my biometrics this morning☺ just 4 fingers on the right hand (code 5), signature and picture. The picture is the worst ever...worse than my drivers license lol! Had to take my glasses off and couldn't see where I was supposed to look...so hello crazyface doublechin lmao👹 also, I had checked off my haircolor as brown on the sign in paperwork...but it is currently colored red, so the officer changed it on the paper. Fast n easy appointment - not rly worth the 9 hours travel, but necessary! So I'm stoked that part is done😄now to study the questions!!
