Question: how long does it yake to change the status on the website? I had my biometrics done today but the status is still “we scheduled your biometric appointment”

even though the case estimated time went down already

I did mine today in NYC. Initially it went down by 2 months and it said "we have scheduled your biometrics appointment." Now it's updated with "we have reviewed your biometrics" and my estimated case completion time went up by one month to February. So today it's gone from March to January to February....

Hey guys!

I went to my biometrics appointment yesterday. By the time we walked in, it was only another couple and us there, so they took us right away. My picture, signature, and four fingers were taken (code 5). They gave me a booklet to study for the interview. My estimated case completion decreased one month from July 2020 to June 2020 on myUSCIS.

I did my BioMetric today. (plan to do it earlier last week but I cannot ask for a day off, so I just went today as it showed on my appointment letter)

I just wait for about 10-15 mins and it was very quick. The staffs were very nice in my office (Chula Vista, San Diego - CA)

My Estimate time went from June 2020 to April 2020 and now up back to May 2020.

My aunt told me in Santa Ana, CA, most of her friends do N-400 for 7-8 months process (it counts after BioMetric, not the whole process).

But I have seen a lot of us here only 3-4 months (for the whole process), so I hope we could have it faster.

It's cruel that the wait is so long! Nationally, the wait has doubled in recent years. In 2016, the average was 5.6 months (nationally). Now it's 10 months (nationally). And evidently in some states the wait is super long.
