Hi everyone! My husband will be completing his N-400 app this evening or by tomorrow. He was just approved for ROC and received green card today in the mail.

Just curious...did anyone add additional evidence other than what was required? We have a daughter together so we have her birth cert. I also have all of our tax transcripts since 2015, car insurance policy, letter of eligibility from health insurance, bank statements, and marriage cert, all the required evidence. I feel like that's sufficient since I can't think of what more to add. Any suggestions?

Believe me, it doesn't hurt if you add additional evidence to boost your N400 application. I sent the required documents and added more documents that I think will help my case.

Other than the required documents, I sent via online:

Joint car insurance

Joint leases

Copy of ID with same address

W-2

Joint tax returns, 2015, 16, 17, and 18

Joint utility bills: light, gas, internet and rent receipts

Son birth certificate

Life insurance

Joint bank statement saving and checking accounts and

Selective service status letter

Some people sent less and they're citizen today.

@jcspeed

These documents are very important in this regard:

1. Joint tax returns for 3yrs

2. Joint Bank statements

3. Joint lease (if available)

4. Birth certificate (s) of children (if you're blessed to have one)

5. Joint credit card statements (if available)

Any other documents can be an additional.

Remember, each case is unique and different. But no one has ever been approved based on marriage to USC without joint tax returns. It's a must!

My field office is Philadelphia, PA

Did you try an early walk-in for your biometrics ? My ASC was York, PA and they accepted me as early walk-in with no problems. That made my estimated time go down from 16 to 13 months. Just thought to mention it for you
