Ok. Your field office is taking approximately 15 -16 months to process N-400. Those months could be shortened if things go fast.

I been tracking Dallas, TX N-400 cases for almost a year now, current timeline is only 12-13 months - although USCIS website suggests anywhere from 20-26 months online.

N-400 Application Timeline :

Application sent via mail - April 15th  (Field office Dallas, TX)

NOA Receipt date - April 17th

Biometrics receipt - April 22th (appointment scheduled for May 14th)

Biometrics completed - May 7th (Early Walk-in)

Biometrics completed - May 7th (Early Walk-in)

Interview scheduled notification - November 12th (via email - waiting to receive letter in mail for actual Interview date)

Interview completed & Case approved - November 17th

Naturalization Ceremony (in January 2020 - waiting on notice)

Which is true, but I always try to keep an open door for USCIS snail processing speed. In addition to what you said, my field office is Philadelphia, and USCIS has estimated between 9.5 - 20 months. However, based on data I have gathered from here and friends who filed at the same field office; it's taking around 6-7 months for an interview to be scheduled. Probably, August or September could be the moment or maybe sooner who knows.

Got my first case status:

Received application: Submitted April 23rd.

Estimated completion time: April 2020 (12 months).

Estimated wait time: 30 days.

Thank you @chars for answering @Natfor2019 that the wait time is for biometrics - I was wondering too:-)

@VikingoutwestEstimated wait time is  almost the same for both of us for biometrics..We submitted application also same date :) Completion time 12 months vs 13 months..Good luck!

Am not sure what is my field office..is there a way to check that from the application/elsewhere please? Am in Connecticut.

@Natfor2019, your field office is Hartford, CT. That office is taking 10 months in processing N-400. However, that time could be reduced based on data I have seen here.

@Vikingoutwest, your field office is taking 6.5 months for N-400. It's my guesstimate that you will be one of few people among us to have an early interview letter based on your field office processing speed.
