Hi Blossom90!  My husband just filed his application this weekend - we're in Minneapolis.

I'm also confused about who processes these.  I thought it would be the Minneapolis-St. Paul field office, but had we filed on paper we would've had to send it to Chicago, and our receipt notice lists the NBC in Overland Park, KS.

Anyone have any insight on all this?

don't know if it's been answered yet, but I believe the difference between filing online versus physically is:

-online goes straight to your field (local) office

-paper cases go to address assigned to your state, then sent to field office

I think that's how it's done 🙂

Sent the paper app in on April 4th- case was accepted on April 8th in Chicago, but still waiting on biometrics. I started a google doc so we could track everyone's progress:

I have added my In_laws information to the google doc they are currently filed 16th  April though I assume as 2 of them their journey could be different?

Hopefully I have filled it in correctly?

Applied online:

03/28/19

I applied online and have been scheduled for Biometric on April 15, 2019.

My field office is Philadelphia, PA

I filed mine on the 3/29, still haven't receive a biometric letter..

I got a update saying on  April13th that my biometric appointment has been mailed and if I dont receive a letter by may 13th I should contact them.

My attorney is out of town so I'm not sure if he received any mail😭

Should I be worried and contact uscis??

Either what Lemon23 said or you can just give USCIS a call and ask for a copy of that letter. Maybe it got lost in the mail...

Try looking for the letter on your account at the uscis website. All letters they sent you will be upload on your N-400 file. You can print it from there.
