DS-260 online form expiration/termination date

Hi all

Recieved  our immigrant visa case creation on may 15 2018, and assume I will have until may 15 2019 to fill it out and submit everything. 

If I pay the fees for the DS-260 and the I-864 now, will the case still be terminated in may, or how do I go about keeping it going?

It has not been a year since the case was created, so it is still active. Pay the fees now and keep the case going before it gets too late. 

 

I would also make sure I hurry up with every other requirements once both payment has been processed, if I were you.

I filled all my forms and got interview appointment in February 2016. But... I was pregnant by then and we decided to remain in Europe, I keep writing to the embassy every 6 month to have my case updated. I asked at the embassy how long i can do it and they said as long as I want provided i write them every 6 month
