Tax Transcript

It is required for the I-864 submittals since they are more legal binding.  It was listed as a required upload for our CR-1 NVC process.  The W2 was also listed but not a tax return.  I sent the 2017 transcript as the latest and I also added the full 2018 tax return as an extra upload just in case.  I do know of K-1s who were fine recently with just the tax return and I have heard of CR-1s being issued 221(g) for transcripts.  That really confuses me because transcripts are a required upload.

Either way, the K-1 does not appear to "require" transcripts but they are usually pretty easy to get and not a bad addition.

The issue that is common is not having the FULL return.  People bring in the 1040 and W2 and think that is it.  They do require all schedules and forms.  Anything mailed to the IRS should be included in the package with the I-134.

sorry for the late response everyone, I have been gathering more requirements.

Alright, I've read the checklist from USEM and it says there transcripts OR w2/1040 meaning it should be either. It was just confusing but now I am relieved. Thank you everyone for your insights. I appreciate it a lot ❤️

If you are at the point of interview then i would think your tax forms are irrelevant.  If you want them for the interview to be safe then he should be able to send you copies of what he sent in.
