Hi all,

Just wanted  to update you guys.  We went to our interview today and it was a breeze.  We were there for about 45 minutes between check in and the interview.  They called us in  1) he started going through the Q&A on the form (I-485)  2) he asked us how did we meet.  3) he said if we have pictures of us when we first met,  I said we have them on our  phones,  he said ok can I look through the phone,  we said yes and my husband gave the phone.  After looking through my husband's phone he reviewed the file again and told us that this a conditional Green Card and give my husband a form to sign  and after that,   he said good luck to the both of us and for us to wait for the card in the mail.  We brought everything that was in interview letter but he only ask us for evidence of my citizenship and pictures of our wedding and when we first met.

How long you waited to get married .

He came on December 7th last year--married December 18th (11days).  We didn't have a big wedding.

I had my birth certificate translated online for $20. It's not a big deal. They email you a translation and an affidavit that they know both languages.

You don't need it notarized (but feel free). I sent the emailed copy I received, as is. Printed it out and attached to a copy of the original BC. No issues.

Hi what website you use?

Hi guys, did you send your birth certificate or extrait des archives when applying for AOS? I sent extrait archives they sent me an RFE today I don't know if it's because I didn't send the actual birth certificate made in Les Cayes where I was born but I used the one made in Port au Prince called extrait des archives for all my K1 steps .

I sent the extrait. Does the RFE ask for the birth certificate?
