Thanks! I just checked my field office and there are some people who filed last August and September and they had their interview in 6 months!

I'm having a depressing day today but this tool definitely made me a bit happier!

I’m glad!! I know this process can be so draining so any good news can make it a bit better haha hopefully you also get yours within six months!

I'm in SoCal. We also wanted to move to a new apartment by the fall because we hate to live in this complex but I told my husband that let's sing another 6 months lease because of the AOS. I saw that on the September and October thread many people were complaining about the address change made their case slower...

Ugh I hate how we basically have to put our lives on hold until this process is over..

That would suck if that’s the case.. I would’ve thought that since the field office doesn’t change it doesn’t really make a difference? No clue though

The thing is you have to report the address change in 10 days but the system will update the change only 30 to 45 days...

:( we have no choice because our current lease will ends in end of July and the rent goes up like crazy since it's a luxury apartment. And our apartment only can renew the lease for one year. We are in a uncomfortable spot right now because we don't know when we will receive our interview notice.  Just hope this transition will be smooth.

SoCal is extremely expensive too. Our lease will go higher as well... But I don't want to wait more than a year for the interview... However, I hate this place.

The best thing that you can do when you will have the new apartment, go to the USPS office where you belong right now and ask for the address change. It's free and you'll get all the letters to the new place.

Thank you. We will do it once we can get the new address. I still need to fill the AR-11 online for the AOS right?

What was your reason to request an expedite? We are thinking about it too, but we are not exactly sure what would be the best choice.

For me, it was financial loss to both my employer and myself. I have been working for my company for a few years and have a specialized skill that my employer needs and I use on a daily basis so not working is a financial loss to them. I provided a letter from my employer stating as much and I also stated that both my husband and I have health insurance through my employer and we'd like to keep it that way. Unfortunately, my EAD expired this week so I had to quit my job. Thankfully, I can return to work as soon as my EAD is approved but I only wish I had applied for the expedite sooner as losing my job is such a strain on us. Honestly, I say go for it, there's no harm in trying..
