Dear god , she is from Ga. My former Brother in law, often pictured with her, is head of the Ga DNC. Still love the guy, but he , at least, on the surface has made such a hard turn left

Lock him in a room in which Rush LImbaugh's show is piped in for 6 weeks straight, and former BIL will see the light and capitulate.

Brook Avenue Press, a company set up in the Bronx to publish books about city children, owes $1,877.56 in unpaid corporate taxes.

LOL

Seriously, this amount due in unpaid corporate taxes and people are bent out of shape? Jesus, you should see what our clients owe, and those guys are property magnates. Little LLCs you set up for a venture here or there, that you then end up not using as you expect, meh. $800 a year for a CA LLC, which is ridiculous, and why I usually recommend a Wyoming LLC (pretty opaque, set up almost immediate, cheap cheap cheap) but sometimes you gotta do a CA LLC for whatever reason. People forget they even have LLCs that need to be taken care of, and you bug them about it and warn it will be suspended by the Franchise Tax Board, but they don't care until the LLC needs to be revived. No clue what kind of form of corporate entity Brook Avenue Press is, all the results are gummed up on Google with the SHEER OUTRAGE of nearly $1900 in unpaid taxes.

Indeed - pass the smelling salts. When the Trump Campaign pays back the nearly $600k they owe the city of El Paso I might need a fainting couch

When YOU donate 100% of your salary for.over two years, then perhaps you would be in a position to throw stones at those in glass houses.

Well, it's not a lot of taxes that are due, I'm not going to argue with that. But it's the principle -- I mean, if you're going to talk a good talk about how it's important for us all as citizens to take part in our society, and how taxes fund all the good stuff (and some of the bad stuff) that we share as a society, you should also make sure you pay your taxes, or work out an installment plan. My ex used to moan about how much he had to pay now that he was a permanent resident (and probably still does as a USC, I try not to talk to him too much, lol), and my fiance complains about how he pays taxes but he's not even a green card holder yet. But they both know taxes are a necessary evil, and pay on time, and they couldn't be more different politically.

Starting life out by owing back taxes.  Al Sharpton is proud of her, I'm sure.

They do love to take everyone else's taxes though. You can expect that if she ever gets around to actually paying it, it will be coming out of our pockets.

I've been told by the leftys that "whataboutism" is bad form. If you're a conservative anyway. The left do it all the time.

Lucky for me, I'm too old to give a $hit what either side says about me.  I speak my mind.

You are correct. That's why I have zero respect for Al Sharpton and Stacy Abrams (and anyone who doesn't pay their taxes.)

Only if you know about it though, right?

IIRC,  you were fine with politicians not disclosing their tax returns, in which case we wouldn't really know if they owe taxes or not.

That's a fair point, I have to agree.

Not just politicians... NO ONE should.have to disclose their tax returns under duress.

I've never seen Al's tax transcripts, but it's no secret he cheated his way out of paying them (at least for a.while).

The IRS knows, and that's what really matters, yes?
