 Congratulations !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thanks! hmm1, I noticed that the NVC received your papers about a week after your NOA2. Did you contact them, or did they notify you? I'm curious since this is the next step for me. I was reading in the Guides section to wait around two weeks before contacting the NVC about our papers. Also, I read somewhere on the NVC site to wait about three weeks ( I think I read this in the FAQ section).

Thanks so much everyone for the congratulations postings! I'm so glad I found this place!

Hi there! When we got our approval, we started contacting NVC (thru phone and email inquiries) a week after. Your case won't sit very long at NVC stage unless they need to run a name/background check or something. Exactly two weeks after, NVC replied to my e-mail inquiry about the status of our case and they informed me that it was already forwarded to Manila consulate. And oh, my fiance also received a letter (snail mail) from them and informed him when they got our case.

 You're almost there!
