I would like to send a BIG, warm, and fuzzy thank you to everyone who replied to my post! The mere idea that you found the time to get through it was a plus! (I know it was overwhelmingly long :wacko::blink:

One of the images killed me with laughter(halo over the animal dung), while the other simply made me cry :crying: (Black sheep; 1 in a million...Yeah that is miraculous huh?)

Thanks again for your words of inspiration & encouragement. We are beginning to feel like triumphant conquerors now, but the truth is that on most days I felt like a ant-helpless and powerless...

This month was horrendous, because I had finally reached the point where I was just ready to say, "Forget It", but my husband kept reminding me of our long journey, and the importance of not giving up(He's so persistent! :luv: , then the twist in event occurred.

I just sit back and wonder how many people have had false positive HIV test results and as a result denied a U.S. visa??? Individuals living in a developing country barely have the money to pay for the first exam, less alone paying for an additional test. Instead, one quietly accepts the result and abandon the visa process altogether. But I'm willing to bet that the accuracy of such tests must come into question.

Think of all the unnecessary suicides that have been committed as a result of receiving such a tragic diagnosis. The stigmatization that occurs is unfathomable! Being ostracized is another factor also.

God truly is awesome, because never for one day did my husband ever take prescribed antiretroviral therapy. (For a long time I strongly believed he was in denial, but after he presented his defense for rejecting treatment(with supporting evidence) and considering the fact that he is degreed in the area of microbiology, I felt that he was within his rights not to take the meds. Now look...........2 years later the medical findings have changed.

He had me laughing when he told me the story of how the doctors from the clinic were rushing in to see this man whom had received the mighty miracle from GOD, as they were astonished :o :o :o :o :o

Once again thank you all so very much and God bless you!

Miracles really do happen if you just trust and believe in the miracle worker-JESUS!

Girl, I can feel your pain so badly when you have people asking you "When is he coming?" It had gotten so bad one day that my own my who loves me & is most supportive of me said to me one day after my usual whining (I miss my husband so much) said to me, " Why doesn't he just be a man and let you go get a divorce?" That hurt my heart like a knife.

Now that he is here and she has met him...you know what she says? I feel like he has been in the family forever.

I just laugh & thank GOD she is my mom!

Your story is the most moving story I have ever been blessed to read on VJ. It brought me to my knees after reading it and I gave glory and praises to God because that was such a wonderful story. My faith has been renewed and strenghtened after this encounter and I want to congratulate you and your hubby in advance. May God be with you all during the remainder of the journey and beyond. Amen

love can touch once and last for a lifetime

This is so incredible. I am so completely happy that this worked out for you like this. Some how I ended up reading a lot of sad visa stories today, and when i started reading yours, i was thinking this one topped them all. But what an incredible outcome! I am overjoyed for you. One of my good friends was tested positive for HIV and it was very difficult for all of us, most of all her. I can't even imagine how incredible it must feel to not only be given your life back with a negative test for HIV but to know on top of all, that he could now be with you very shortly.

Congrats and enjoy the amazing future will have with your husband!!

Amen! Praise God! Isn't it amazing how the things we see as our obstacles and hurdles (i.e. the time it takes to process all these forms and documents) are the very things God uses to turn our situation around. If your process hadn't taken so long, your husband wouldn't have had to go take another medical exam, and you could both still be very well thinking he was HIV+. That is one situation that I have thought of in my own process, since my fiance has never had an HIV test (of course we always go right to the one bad possibility, no matter how small), and I have asked myself what I would do... Well reading your story is definately encouraging... you have chosen to love your husband, and nothing will stop that, and you have proven that love to each other in a mighty way.. that is a love that will not be easily shaken. I pray that God takes you through speedily now as you prepare to finally meet one another again.
