This is a truly wonderful story, not only because of your undeniable faith but because of the love, commitment, strength and courage you have both shown. Your inspirational journey and true love for one another had me in tears.

May God bless you both in your future life together.

We serve an awesome God, thank you for this testimony and for

your willingness to share it here.

I started out with tears in my eyes reading it but then ended up with a smile on

my face and encouraged in my own long wait.

All the best to both of you ! (F)

I posted a similar reply, but apparently some picky people do not like us giving glory to the Almighty and removed my post. :o Doesn't matter, God is Greater !

This thread is a duplicate. Are you positive you didn't post in the first topic of the same title, found here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry941435

?

I doubt anyone removed your post because you mentioned God.

yes yes, it is cleared up. relax.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Praise God and give Him ALL the glory. How wonderful that God gave you both the strength to continue with this journey. He truly knows how to prepare His soldiers and you both are an apparent mix in His army.

Congratulations to you both, your story has come right on time for me and the mention and presence of God in it has made all the difference to me.

Thank you!

I would like to send a BIG, warm, and fuzzy thank you to everyone who replied to my post! The mere idea that you found the time to get through it was a plus! (I know it was overwhelmingly long :wacko::blink: )

One of the images killed me with laughter(halo over the animal dung), while the other simply made me cry :crying: (Black sheep; 1 in a million...Yeah that is miraculous huh?)

Thanks again for your words of inspiration & encouragement. We are beginning to feel like triumphant conquerors now, but the truth is that on most days I felt like a ant-helpless and powerless...

This month was horrendous, because I had finally reached the point where I was just ready to say, "Forget It", but my husband kept reminding me of our long journey, and the importance of not giving up(He's so persistent! :luv:), then the twist in event occurred.

I just sit back and wonder how many people have had false positive HIV test results and as a result denied a U.S. visa??? :( Individuals living in a developing country barely have the money to pay for the first exam, less alone paying for an additional test. Instead, one quietly accepts the result and abandon the visa process altogether. But I'm willing to bet that the accuracy of such tests must come into question.

Think of all the unnecessary suicides that have been committed as a result of receiving such a tragic diagnosis. The stigmatization that occurs is unfathomable! Being ostracized is another factor also.

God truly is awesome, because never for one day did my husband ever take prescribed antiretroviral therapy. (For a long time I strongly believed he was in denial, but after he presented his defense for rejecting treatment(with supporting evidence) and considering the fact that he is degreed in the area of microbiology, I felt that he was within his rights not to take the meds. Now look...........2 years later the medical findings have changed.

He had me laughing when he told me the story of how the doctors from the clinic were rushing in to see this man whom had received the mighty miracle from GOD, as they were astonished :o :o :o .

Once again thank you all so very much and God bless you!

There's just one thing I don't get. From what I know, every time an HIV test comes back positive, they automatically retest the person, in order to avoid the false positive result. I would imagine that in a region where malaria is high, this would be even more true, which means you were put through all this unnecessarily since it's clear your husband had false positive result the first time, as the new tests conclude.

I even see grounds for suing, since they shouldn't have accepted the first test as the final truth.
