i do support strong national defense, but do not support wasting money on it - i think we spend way too much on it especially trying to be policeman to the world

i do support having medicare to be available to everyone as an option alongside regular insurance

i do not support religion, and think churches should be taxed like corporations,

i do support the right to fair labor laws and unions

i think that big pharma needs to be controlled and that medicare should be allowed to negotiate drug prices

i think lobbying should be banned

i like clean air and water and food

i think we should go towards more renewable energy

i do not think that the country is going in the right direction regarding wealth inequality

Does not matter what you support, you opened by insulting pretty much everyone on the board, the wondered why you cant have a civil conversation.  Its not your views.  Its your vitriol.  Do you normaly start conversations with insults when you want a friendly reaction.

so you are saying i was right in assuming that the general consensus is that this place is mostly trump supporters? if so, that is the point of me saying that it is an echo chamber.

Yes we are mostly Trump supporters,  and i make no apology for supporting him.  You dont think your opening comment of we think our xxx dont stink and we buy garbage. was not  an insulting way to start a conversation.

i don't buy into a lot of the more extreme ideas, extremism in either direction is bad, and thats how i feel this country is being pulled. you are either extremely to the right or extremely to the left and there is no more room in the middle where we can be united as one country. i do think the media plays a huge part in it, on both sides. its why i dont watch any of it anymore. i cant stand talking head shows, if i want news i just want the unbiased just the facts news.

 

i always knew this meuller thing was going to be a big fat nothingburger and i am pretty appalled at people like schiff for going on and on about it. he is being a dumbass. if the house wants to do its own investigations, thats fine because there were a lot of things that should be looked into and meuller had a narrow scope, but this impeachment bs is grandstanding and i hate that

 

in a way i miss the world before cable news where everyone has to scream about something just to make a soundbite to get ratings. its garbage. actually i dont watch much tv anymore unless its cooking shows or netflix or game of thrones

Personally I was not a big fan of Trump's during the GOP primary, but in the end, he was the much lesser of the two evils.  I personally hate his Twitter ravings as I hate Twitter all together.  The one big thing I give Trump credit for is he has taken more than two years of total organized bashing by the Democrats, the biased media and of course the "Never Trumpers" and taken it.  I doubt Hillary, or Obama would have been able to deal with that (not that they would have considering the state of our mainstream media).  Trump has a vitriolic personality, and he is a pompous *** that likes to exaggerate a lot which only feeds the extreme leftist attacks, but in a way, that is good for the GOP as it is teaching them to grow a backbone and deal with the biased media.  Heck, look at McConnell, would he have brought the Green New Deal to vote in the Senate if not for Trump, identifying all these Democrat socialists as jokes?
