Hey there! We were documentarily qualified on July 22 2019. We haven't had any word from the NVC or Montreal Consulate since. We have been waiting for over 30 days now (going on 60) and it's getting frustrating... anyone else have a similar timeline?

I’ve been DQ since May 31 and our case is still sitting at NVC. There are people who were qualified in April who are still waiting for their interviews as well. Apparently Montreal is quite backlogged.

I've been waiting since May 2nd. There's a huge backlog. Buckle up.

I'm very confused about something: since January 2019, it looks like some people waited the normal 1-3 months for an interview date, yet other people including some who had been approved before them, had to wait/have been waiting for 4-5-6 months. Do we know why? 🤔😕

Also from VJ data it seems that things should be speeding up soon now that summer is ending... 🤞

It has always been slow during summer but this summer is the lowest of them all! Only 6 for CR1 and 10 IR1 issued last July.

We're coming out of it, they'll pick up the pace now!! The students visas must be out of the way. I know it's hard but we have to stay optimistic!

Does anyone know if theres an existing thread for F2A (spouse of permanent resident) visas waiting for an interview at the Montreal Consulate? I've been searching but I can't find one. We've been waiting 4 months for an interview date. DQ on May 14, 2019. Thanks in advance!

I’ve seen F categories posting on some threads but not specifically F2A. You can try and start a new thread and hopefully others can see it. Even us CR1/IR1 spouses of US citizens are still waiting too. Almost 4mos now.
