implantation bleeding

to all mommies out there..did u guys ever had experience implantation bleeding before u found out that u are pregnant..i did some research about implantation bleeding and it usually says that it occurs before ur expected date.. my expected date of my menstruation is on april 30 but then on this 2nd week of may i was experiencing light spotting..like 3 drops of blood in each day for 3 days straight and yesterday and today i have the same things happening again? im really confuse if im pregnant or just having a slow regular period...i hope some momies out there can share their experience..thanks

Trying to save $20 on a pregnancy test?

If you were due on April 30th but did not menstruate, you need to take a pregnancy test. There are all sorts of things that could cause the spotting you discussed, and pregnancy is only one of them.

BTW...this is OT so someone can ask whatever they want...

And YES, it could be implantation or it could be just spotting. Wait until you are a day or so past your period due date and take a test. Best wishes!!

Hopefully the OP will consult with a doctor. When one isn't sure of the source of said bleeding, it would be wise to let a medical professional check this out.

I have read about it in many of my readings...but it never happened to me, actually I haven't experienced any bleeding during my pregnancy thus far. It is best to go to the Drs. and get it checked out. Plus if you are preggers it's good to start prenatal care as early as possible. Good luck.

I had implantation bleeding with our youngest. We were in Scotland when I had what I thought was a very short, 2 week early period that lasted 3 days, it was not normal, the blood was pink and brownish and no clots. I also had the stomach flu with it, and was miserable. I thought it was all stress related as we were in the process of moving house. My period didn't come properly 2 weeks later, a month later there was no period, and two weeks after that no period. We just *knew* we were pregnant, took home tests, they were positive, went to the GP, they said "you're not pregnant". We thought we were going mad. That very night we cuddled up on the couch watching the news and what did we see - Thousands of GP Pregnancy Test recalled in Scotland and Northern England for giving false negatives. We rang them the next day and asked for a retest, the obliged and confirmed we were pregnant lol It was the most insane thing ever

My mother had implantation bleeding with each of her 3 children and I in turn had it with 2 of my 3.

If you did indeed mean your period is due on May 30th, then yes you could be pregnant. But if you meant that you were due on April 30th and it didn't happen, then you might be pregnant but having an early miscarriage. But don't freak! Some women have spotting when pregnant and there's absolutely nothing wrong, either! You could also just have a hormonal imbalance....or....any number of things as has been said.

Do a pregnancy test. Go see a doctor.

you can get done the urine preg test or serum preg test rather than trying to make assumptions n getting confused

thanks fopr the reply guys..my first day of my last menstruation was march 30 so i was expecting to have my next on april 30th and it didnt come up..the other night just after i posted this message me and my husband bought a 2 pregnancy test and yes i used it and it both came out positive..im gonna set an appointment for the OBGyne after memorial holiday..i am so happy..i am really not expecting these and its really a blessings for us...i really appreciate all ur replies..thanks

1.. if you are PG and bleeding you need to be going to the DR asap. could be pending MC

2. confirm your PG with a TEST.

3. just because you have what may seem like normal cycles dont mean your not PG.

with a ectopic pregnacy < thats what I had >. your simptoms are diffrent!!!! I had cycles for 3 months. it was not til I passed out on the floor the DR told me I was pregante. I was an inch form death.
