I am not sure how to react to this, after all nobody wants to see anyone killed. But if you take the view it was going to happen then it seems appropriate it should happen to someone fighting for the cause.

DL in the US is also an identity car.

This is why real ID is introduced and not all DLs are ID. 

Isnt the law that you have to have a DL to be insured? What insurance company is going to take the risk of insuring an unlicensed driver?! Not sure what other regulations would work.

State issue but obviously people lose their licenses and that would not happen if this was the overriding issue.

People change their opinions as the years go by. Plenty of Obama voters voted Trump and plenty of Bush voters voted Obama. The dude had 5 kids. No reason why anyone getting killed in an ironic way  for their liberal or conservative beliefs should be appropriate.

Yes it is the law. The problem is that most companies that will insure them are the cut rate POS insurance companies. They are the ones that will stall your claim and try to pay you as little as possible. You see their ads all the time in CA.

 

My wife was not by someone who has a insurance company like this and after 3 weeks of no traction on the claim and they hadn't even interviewed their driver yet. I just paid my deductible and turned it over to my insurance company. They claim was finally settled 10 months later and I got my deductible back.

I feel really bad for his family I really do but this individual was protected from deportation because of people like the victim. He should have been sent home long before this but wasn't because supposedly being illegal makes you a protected status.
