Unfortunately EAD is taking that much time, but rest assured you will receive it maybe even sooner than anticipated. With USCIS, you just never know...every now and then, they do sonething out of the norm. Since you already have an estimated time frame, you can count from when you filed. May happen sooner or later! All the best.

I've read somewhere that it's possible only when your abuser is a government employee, U.S citizen..I hope @sandranj verifies this..but I know I've read it in passing! Hang in there..

There is no fee to renew the EAD using the same category but lately, USCIS keeps sending the I-765 back and asking for the fees and I have no idea why because the Law clearly states there is no fee to renew then just in case submit form I-912 along with the form to renew.

@sandranj thanks for always replying our messages,I want to ask what my i485 status is gonna show if my it’s in pending that will make to be able to renew my EAD,cause presently it’s still showing request for evidence so I want to know what’s going to show to know if I’m allowed to renew the EAD..will it show pending on my i485 or I can still renew it the way its showing request for initial evidence...and if I also want to send the renewal of Ead,should I send the renewal form to Vermont?? Please I would like to know how to go about it

Did anyone else had their i485 interview (after VAWA approval) and their case was put on additional review, after the interview ? Its been 5 months since I was interviewed and no update yet.

Hi everyone, I just applied for VAWA while my I485 was pending (EAD+AP was approved). I just want to understand what's gonna happen now after I applied, how long will the process take? How do I extend my EAD and/or AP? Should I do it now or later when it is expired? What happens after the decision is made? 
Also, I am moving from Florida to California due to work, so what's gonna happen to my case? Will it be transferred to a local CA office or not?
Thank you for any info you can share, so I can understand process better.

Nothing so far ... I’m worried as everything went well and officer said he has requested my file and also he asked my divorce date what I wrote was different as actually divorce happened later so I didn’t had the original copy . Watever I could provide him was the copy from court but it was the same way I answered in rfe.

I have 2 cases pending like yours,but we had here a few member that waited 7/9months after the interview to get the GC

If you didn’t receive a letter stating your case was denied then your case is pending.
