As of today, I checked my case status online,  it showed below, I think my lawyer requested the update, but I am not sure what the answer would be:(

Is that,are they not going to update my status stating that they have received it, 2.or maybe they haven’t received it yet maybe there was a mix up somewhere cause I was told on the rfe letter that I should send the receipt of i360 to my local field that I had the interview.i don’t want a situation whereby they didn’t get the receipt and they deny the case it will be so painful to me,so when I called the Uscis they said they can’t share any information as regards the i485 to me ..but they asked me on what ground is the i485 and I told them I filed i360 and was told to send my receipt so they can decide on my i485..what I want now is that I don’t want to be left behind by the local field office thinking I didn’t send cause I want expected them to even let me know that they received the receipt for the rfe...I Dnt want mix up anywhere or my case gets complicated that’s why I keep asking on here and calling Uscis and they said they can’t share any information as regards my i485 not even on my i360..i didn’t ask any questions about my i369 cause I just filed it’s just the i485 cause I want to be sure everything is going right  and if they actually received the receipt ...cause I will want to renew my work authorization and would want to know where to send my renewal i485 form to to get my EAD renewed before the decide on my i360...please I would be glad if you can tell me how to go about the renewal of my EAD..actually I got the EAD on my abusive wife’s petition so how can I renew it now that I filed i360 and also still want to make use of the marriage based i485...please I need help in getting appropriate answer as some. People might have encountered similar situation like Mine and I’m also sending them the receipt again on Monday to tell them that I sent it before ..I know the can miss that again if they missed the first one cause I don’t want to be too comfortable thinking I have nothing to worry about...I need help in telling me how to go about the renewal of my ead c09 and also my abusive wife still stalking on me harassing me,I moved out of that house now ..so how am I gonna change my address too ..thanks would be kindly waiting for an answer....

USCIS sometimes inform they received the RFE answer, but most of the time they do not inform ok, then don't worry about it. Once they put that your AOS is pending you can file I-765 category C9 to obtain a work permit. If your wife is harassing you file a restraining order against her.

Hi please what's the purpose of the enquiry? I thought you said your previous status was "card production" and that you have your c31 already?..well just wait for the next line of action..

Hey..when did you file though? I've read on previous threads that whenever they touch your file, you may get such updates! It's all positive..fingers crossed!

Yes, I received EAD on March 28th, this is asking why not approval notice yet. My attorney has another case they received the notice letter two weeks later then EAD.

Guess it depends on the officer..as I've seen few cases here on visa journey that it happens both ways...but rest assured that you've been approved! There was even a case that the person didn't even receive the approval notice and had to attend the AOS and there were discussions about it here somewhere previous threads...and was assured that USCIS has the approval both in Vermont and local office in their system! So it's not really a situation..but if you can press to get it, it's great too.

Oh I see..not long ago..I believe they probably checking to see the content of the package you sent..did you get a prima facie yet? If yes cool..then if not yet..they probably checking to see that your application establishes a prima facie determination as they say..overall..just know they are at work on your case! Wish you speedy victory!

it is impredecible, some people get I485 adjudicated after Vawa Approval in about 4-12 months, average 4-8 months. Some get Courtesy Letter for Medical I693 then get Interview Notice others not... I am

waiting for my Interview Notice too!

I know thru the forum that people that got CL on February are getting Interview dates set.

Courtesy Letter :

An initial review of evidence submitted with your application to register permanent residence or adjust status determined that form i-693, report of medical examination and vaccination record, has not been submitted or has been ubmitted.

You must bring this in a further notice at the time of your interview.

NOt every body gets it (no idea why) but some we do then we get interview notice.

Hello members, I’m so happy to find this group and hear the history about your cases. I have been trying to update me from all the information that is in this forum but is a lot. I want to share my journey just in case some of you are identify. 

 

May 21st 2018 - USCIS received my combo petition case ( I-360, I- 485, I-765)

June 15th 2018 - I received my Biometric Appointment notice. 

July 5th 2018  - I received a Prima Face Determination notice

July 6th 2018 - I had my Biometric Appointment. 

 

Since that moment I didn’t receive information, even about my EAD. I was very frustrated becase I was supposed to receive this around August. I was been in touch with my lawyer and he said that some cases take more time than others. 

 

So, almost one year latter, at the beginning of April 2019 I met a person who works in a lawyer office and he told that my case is taking an inusual and longer time, and my lawyer can call and take more information about my case. So I called him and pushed to do it. He finally called and UCIS said that my case was in the wrong category 🙈(According that I have been learning from this group, I supposed my application was under C31 and not under the right C09) it surprised me, but it’s ok, I have to be patient. My EAD will arrive soon 🙏🏻.
