Apologies. Vawa applied on December 2017

From my experience, yes you can. I don't know if it's based on your employer, but when I renewed mine the cetagory was different but my employer did not have any issues. I sent the them the 180 day extension receipt and they allowed me to work.

Sorry to hear that. Suicide is never an option. Be strong and you will get through it. You've made it this far, so don't give up😇

Hey, receiving the courtesy letter doesn’t mean you will be getting a interview date in the next upcoming weeks. They usually send that letter when your case gets transferred to the local office or your medical have expired . Just saying!

I believe my case got transfer because the fiel office that sent it was from National  Benefits Center, MO. I know I have to wait at least 1 month up to 4 months to go into the final step. Just being positive and hopeful to get it sooner 😊

You need to renew your Work Permit as I read in others timelines.

Average timelines are from start to finish around 24-36 months... most likely 24 months.

just to get 1-360 approved takes average 14-18 months seldom cases up to 24-32 months.

Stay Positive!

Hey, average is  taking  around 16 months for Vawa to be approved. Not receiving a RFE is a good thing it could mean you provided all the necesary evidence. Some people get prima facie and some don’t. I wouldn’t worry about either for now. Renew your work permit and keep yourself busy.

I know is easier said than done, but  I always tell people that worrying is not going to speed up the process.Good luck🙏

i think you are eligible for automatic ead extension but you need to renew it before it gets expired. it will take couple of months to get you another EAD

Hi I am new to this group,
My VAWA application was filed in December 2017,it's still in process,
I received Three Prima Facies

1.March 9th 2018.
2.September 5th 2018.
3.February 21st 2019-Expires on 20th August 2019
I was on EAD but it expired in Februray 2019.
Applied for renewal after the current EAD expired. How long does it take for the renewal?
Are there any people who filed in December of 2017,if so have you guys received any RFE?

if your EAD category is c09 or c31, you can  continue working because you are eligible for automatic 180 days extension. I filed in Dec 17 but haven't received any RFE.

P.S i am not sure if you can still work because you applied after your EAD expired. you should have applied for renewal before the expiration of your EAD
