I’m glad to hear that, mine EAD(c031) was produced on Mar 22nd, and not receive approval notice yet, I requested a few days back, and no updated yet. I also applied SSN 2 weeks ago it’s still pending...it goes really slow recently. But your update inspiring me, we have similar dates.

Happy to know this was helpful, I posted it just incase anyone anyone else is in same situation. All the best!

Goodnight all. Question has anyone worked with just their ead who didn't have their ssn.. And also how long until your ss card comes in the mail after you've received your ead..  I checked on my i756 that i wanted them to share my information with social security so that i can get it. I was thinking it would have been printed on the ead or came at the same time ..

EAD don’t come with SS# you most go to SS Office to request your card, it takes 8-12 weeks to arrive. Your need your birth certificate, utility bill, EAD card and your application in hand to get it process

@Islanderk regarding your interview wait time question, I’ve had the same doubt and haven’t been able to make any sense of the wait times. It seems that we, VAWA approved petitioners, have our own wait time for interview, and it’s not posted. We are a much smaller number compared to regular AOS folks.

@FridayGirl@69 has also been trying to figure it out. The only certainty, is that backlogged local offices make us wait longer. Mine is in 18 months plus, so I’m also trying to patiently wait for my interview letter.

Please keep us posted on any progress!

@escape Agreed, there is no chart to follow for Vawa! I have spent time reading a lot of posts, it seems that the waiting time between approval to interview is 6-12 months, average time is 8 months...the Courtesy Letter not all

get them some just go straight to interviews so the counting I took was from Vawa’ s Approval.

Some won’t even get enough time to go to Medical because by the time their lawyer gets the Notices, it is time to present themselves to the Interview Date.

I hope this helps!

Always the best for all 🇺🇸💫

I agree with you..mostly because of the trends and patterns I have read concerning different cases of vawa petitions. It looks like there's no set time frame..you might just get served when you least expect..and sometimes suddenly!

@escape you may not even wait the whole 18months you estimated...it may come suddenly..I've seen it happen here..so I suggested we always be prepared. Wish you speedy victory!

Hi everyone..I have a situation..I received a denial notice for my vawa case because apparently they requested that i provide proof of good moral behavior and my lawyer claims she never received the letter which is very suprising,  as a result my case was denied(how we found out the request was proof of good moral behavior was because we requested they send the letter again even tho the case was denied) my lawyer asked me to choose whether I want to appeal or file the whole thing again..my problem is it took me almost 2yrs to hear from them..if I appeal I don't know how long it will take to hear from them or I don't know if I stand a chance for my case to reopen. If I file again I can get a new EAD which is good but the fear is that might take another 2yrs or more and even so they might request for a different or difficult evidence to provide..please i need advice whether to appeal or refile..thank you

Hi so sorry to hear this! Wow! The things these lawyers do! If you read previous post you will understand how frustrating they can sometimes be! Anyway I'm not an attorney but the idea of appeal sounds better than re filing except you have the patience to wait another two years! I feel bad for you because it was an unfortunate incident! Such a simple RFE! I received a whole 3! To proof good moral character, residence and bonafide marriage and still scaled through! Anyway your lawyer should know that he or she needs to appeal! You will get other suggestions in a bit from the amazing folks we have here. Hang in there!

If he filled the space of EAD that says if you want a social security card then yes after receiving your EAD, like 7 days later you will receive your social security card. You don’t have to go to the office again .For me my EAD came on the 18 feb and then on the 26th i received my social security card .

Mine arrived exactly 8 days after EAD was received.

Thanks for the reminder mate!

And please kindly let me know when your case is updated, I will do same. I wanna know if it's really a pattern with them at Vermont. Some folks just get the approved update first..while others get the card production update..not sure why. Cheers dear.

Hey guys so my EAD i765/i131 Application filled on August 2018, and mistakenly sent to NBC by my lawyer, by the way I'm still on my 180 days extension till June thank God.  After several service request inquired and getting my congress office involved. USCIS just notify me that they transfer both of my application to another office for processing. I know that office is Vermont which should be the one sent in the first place but lawyers think they know it all, we have to also do our part and push all the resource to fix their mistakes... My questions is does this means i need to wait another long months to get the EAD in Vermont office? I also ask to be expedited with a letter of my employer. Anyone have this transfer experience before.....??
