Bro I don’t think they can do that, all you just have to do is to wait for your interview...your new i485 is not affected by the previous one ,don’t be afraid..I know you are many things are coming to your mind and I don’t want you to be bothered about that ..the interview will come or did you get any message from Uscis as regards your previous i485

I believe they are reviewing your case, mine change last October 2018 to “we can not give more information at the moment please call ... if you have any questions” until last week March 20th 2019 that I got my Courtesy Letter for I693 to bring to my interview, I am still waiting to know the date for it but hopefully I will know in the next 4-6 weeks. Hang in there, all Best 🇺🇸💫

Hey, receiving the courtesy letter doesn’t mean you will be getting a interview date in the next upcoming weeks. They usually send that letter when your case gets transferred to the local office or your medical have expired . Just saying!

Hi Guys I am glad i found this forum.

I have applied for a Vawa petition on December 2018. Married to a US citizen and she abused me to the hell. mentally tortured me and emotionally hurted me. i have an approved I130 but she cancelled my I485 and said that infront of immigration officer when we were having an interview. After that i applied for vawa.

Here is my timeline:

Dec 17: Package sent to Vermont Service center (I360, I485, I765 and I131) - on I767 code used was c31

Dec 17: NOA received

Jan 18: Prima facie received

Mar 18: EAD (c09)/AP approved

July 18: 2nd prima facei received

Dec 18: EAD extension applied

Dec 18: 3rd prima facei received

My current EAD has expired last week as I haven't received extension as of now. I went to USCIS office through infopass and the officer told me to expect is somewhere near to the ending date of your current EAD automatic extension date i-e September 2019.

I have a concern here. since i sent my i485 package with i360 and on i765 my attorny has mentioned c31 category code but i received c09 code. Now, when we filed for renewal, my attorney again mentioned c31 code. So my EAD code c09 is not matching with my i767 receipt that is c31 but both are eligible for automatic extensions. So my question is that i can work with my expired EAD correct?

Please help me with your experiences

Thank You-
