@Islanderk, Hi. When I experienced delay with my own EAD (same thing happened, associate attorney first filed under C31, and then a month later, the attorney refiled under C09 late October), in mid March of this year, last month, I emailed USCIS directly through my USCIS account to inquire why it was taking so long, and 2 weeks later my case status changed to card being produced, and 3 days later, approval letter went out and card went out a day after that, I received card in hand last week. So, I would suggest you try contacting them directly, they seem to respond faster that way, at least in my case they did. Good luck.

How did you email them?? I have 2 account Myuscis and the regular USCIS account. i can only make Service Request for out of processing time! can you explain how ?

Hello all

So I got my date for my interview.  Praise be to God.

What should I look for at the interview and it said on the form that the interview will be videotaped?

All will be fine!  Yes! When I went to my Infopass  there is a sign that it will be recorded but no worries it is the protocol. God Bless You!

Best wishes for a smooth interview 🇺🇸💫🥳

Congratulations! Be calm and positive. I was very nervous but everyone here told me to calm down and just be confident, and it helped.

Yes it is videotaped but in my case it was just a webcam. It wasn’t an actual video camera.

They shouldn’t ask you questions about your VAWA case. My lawyer advised me that if they ask about the VAWA to just be courteous and polite and say that those were dark times in your life that you don’t want to remember and relive the nightmare. However, they are not allowed to ask you questions relating to your VAWA.

Make sure you have your medical. I didn’t have mine so I had to submit it after and wait for the approval after I submitted my medical.

Good luck and keep up posted! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I had my interview on April 9, 2019. I didn’t have my medical so I got it done on the 10th, then on the 15th my medical was ready so I dropped it off. Yesterday I got my approval notice.

I made an in depth post about my interview experience it’s page 44 of this thread. But I’ll also send you a private message of that post so that we don’t clog up the thread with double posts.

@FeDanielaYes, I made a service request through my regular USCIS account, not DHS, for out of processing time, put in my name and filled out the online request, and they responded two weeks later with "card being produced" and all that other good stuff 🙂

@sandranj, @FeDaniela, @FridayGirl@69, @Stillwinning!!!😊 and everyone. Thanks so much for your response and input, I really do appreciate it. I will surely  submit the offer letter with a notarized letter to Vermont to request for response or expedited service and I will keep everyone posted on the outcome.
