.If you applied for work permit category C9 and you didn’t receive the work permit yet  then the card they will issue is the work permit category C9 but if you are not waiting a work permit and filed your vawa over 14 months ago then probably you will get work permit category C31,if you get category C31 then your vawa was approved .

@sandranj would you mind telling me when is best time to do Medical after receiving the Courtesy Letter on March 13th 2019?

not sure if it is wise to do it ASAP or to wait for the Interview Notice to arrive? I will appreciate your input. Thank you in advanced.

i had a similar timeline like yours but i applied in april 2017 and was approved in july 31st 2018 no rfe so hold on tight you are getting there closely.Wish you all the best

Hi, I’m going to get affidavits from friends and I’m confused about what they have to say. Are they supposed to mention that me and my spouse are no longer together? If yes, the reason? One of my friends doesn’t know the abuse in details so I’m not sure if its going to be awkward for immigration a statement talking about our marriage.
