My WAVA case just change and  is asking for additional evidence is that bad or a a good thing? I know that this is. Stupid question but I have never had that. 

It's not a good thing of course, but if they are asking more evidences of the abuse or to prove bonafide marriage then just submit what they are asking.

Wait at least 2 weeks more, and if you don't receive the recpeit then set up an appointment with infopass.

I'm a Sept  2017 filer, so far on 01/28/2019 they mailed RFE to me but I didn't receive it so the website status says it was returned to them. I already sent them a letter asking to send it again and so far nothing. I tried going to Infopass but my office is not taking appointments or walk-ins at the moment. This is extremely frustrating as we do not have a certain way to reach them and letter seem to be ignored. 

 

Please help!!!

Set up appointment with infopass  in other city.Ask your congress person to inquire on your behalf as well.

hello Sandra, how are you? hope you are doing great! please i need ur help losing my mind had interview on march 15th till date no updates or nothing if my case is being reviewed or not, i’m just worried that it might because my divorce is still pending in court and i was still married to my abusive husband when i filed? please @sandranj can u help me clear this doubt? is it normal to to have gotten any notifications on wether it is under review ?Thanks for your help!

Call USCIS number to schedule an info pass... you have to call now to schedule an info pass... when you call them also explain on phone to them ur situation..

I moved to Chicago, i mean i can still wait no problem, if it will be more than 3 months probably than i will start raising questions

Vermont takes forever to update address change..I just wanted the whole thing to go smoothly. "Hello, that's not correct. In order to get an EAD pursuant to an approved VAWA not only does your VAWA have to be approved you have to actually apply for one under this category. USCIS is not in the business of gifting work permits under any circumstances"

This was my attorneys response when I told her USCIS status of "card in production" also means it has been approved..and I will get my work permit under c31 wether i applied for it or not! Someone save me please😏😏😜😜

This lawyer needs to educated her self more on her field... expand her knowledge immigration laws and all different aspect. LOL

LOL and then some! It's been a long road of arguments and disagreements because she refused to reason with me and keeps reminding me of who's the attorney and all that..even when she filed my EAD renewal category c9 she sent it to NBC instead of Vermont and told me to stop teaching her her job! I'm just waiting patiently for the card to arrive her office so i can gently pick it up and hopefully it won't be long before we part ways!😊

Your EAD renewal sent to NBC did arrived??? Mines was sent to NBC as well still waiting my lawyer also made the mistake..

Hello everyone i was gone for a while .. hope everyone is well .. so i got my approval on the vawa last year around may .. now my work permit will expire may 25 !!! My lawyer barely started my renewal last week !!! Will i get my new ead card on time or will i loose my job please please help me !! This has been a long journey i have been waiting for 3yrs now !!

Nope! The status says completed fingerprint review and that they are processing it. But hopefully my EAD c31 would suffice and there

wouldn't be any gap in my authorization to work. When my attorney made the error of sending it to NBC instead of Vermont, I was devasted because I asked and pleaded she send it to Vermont..but she as usual thought she knew it all..I only prayed my Vawa be approved so I get the c31 card to avoid unnecessary delay!
