Sure it should..because I had to get affidavits from friends and family..and my landlord..everyone's case is different..depending on the officer handling your case as well..some are harder to satisfy than others..especially as they use their discretion..pray for favour. Submit all you can and ask God for intervention.

I will and thank you for all your help god bless you

Good morning,

Someone please help me:

I'm a Sept  2017 filer, so far on 01/28/2019 they mailed RFE to me but I didn't receive it so the website status says it was returned to them. I already sent them a letter asking to send it again and so far nothing. I tried going to Infopass but my office is not taking appointments or walk-ins at the moment. This is extremely frustrating as we do not have a certain way to reach them and letter seem to be ignored.

Please help!!!

I hope Sandra or anyone else who knows how to remedy such situation sees this and responds. Looks like you changed address no? It would have been great if you had a lawyer because all correspondence go to the attorneys. Anyway I hope it's resolved timely..as I don't know the implication of this occurrence.

Hello house ,I am about to change my address cause I will be moving into my new room by next week cause my wife been stalking over me so i think I need to move out of that house ...I think she heard I was still living there after she moved out .my landlord is a snitch,he might be the one doing all that ..but to be on a safer side I had to desperately get another room..but the issue on the ground now is that I just submitted my i360 last week and I used my Lawyer’s address and our address that we were both living ..I should have left but there was no room available for me to rent that’s why I kept living there, though she packed out and I changed the keys ..cause she said she wanna see how I am going to be able to pay the rent cause I don’t work but fortunately I got my work permit...but now i want to change my address ...I was told to send the change of address to VErmont for my case and make sure I notarize it so that they can know it’s me ...but when I checked change of address for AR11 I saw last year form that has expired can I use it like that ..or I have to wait for the new AR11 form ..and again is it the form I’m going to Notarize or I write my statement on a paper then notarize it and add the AR 11 form to it so that they can know that it came from me ..please I need your response cause I need to move out of this address cause I’m afraid of my wife cause she could send people to injure me just like she said ..so please can you tell me how to go about the changing of this address that it won’t afffect my case that I will still be able to receive my letters from the USCIS ..although I am also using my lawyers address as well cause he is the one representing me which I know that they gonna send my mail to his address too ..but I need to change my address to the current address I am moving to next week ..so should I use the 2018 AR 11 form ...and again I still haven’t received the request for evidence they sent after I went for the interview where I told them that they should help me hold the i485 ...please I need your response..on how to go about the change of address successfully cause my landlord is very mean and wicked ..she is the one that told my wife that I still live there ...

Hi,

I've been moving from Florida to Texas and back to Florida ever since I applied. The only way is to send a notarized letter to USCIS. I filed on Sept 2017 and it took them a very long time to update. They updated my address until 01.24.2019 😱

Everything they sent to the attorney who filed the VAWA for me before that so don't worry. It's best your attorney receives those letters.

I did have a lawyer who filed for me originally but I had to fire him. He didn't know anything about VAWA just collecting money and he said supposedly he didn't receive anything for me.

So far its been 2 months since they received my RFE, no answer from them

To my understanding, they have about 3 months to respond to RFEs... have you tried infopass in Miami? They're not taking appointment or walk ins when I tried to go :(

Oh I see sorry to hear that. Most of this lawyers just prey on people's vulnerabilities. Really sad.I totally understand as I was more proactive on my case than my lawyer..all they want is money and more of it. I hope you rectify this as soon as possible. Alot of folks here were approved without representation. So stay positive dear.

Hi everyone ☺️

despite of uncertainty,

but with faith, I am posting this to let 2017 filers to have a bit more patience!

I got i-360 update today saying new card is mailed to me.

And according to all your help here I want to say it is an approval of the case 😍

I am sharing timeline so that 2017 filers can estimate the time.

Sep.26.2017 i-360 filed

oct.14.2017 RFE for GMC

nov.24.2017 RFE received

and

mar.19.2019 new card produced

mar.21.2019 card mailed to you

so hopefully by april there will be another update saying that my case has been approved.

Thank God for everything!

I will keep waiting and try to be calm just like I have been till getting GC.

Thank you guys for all activities, advices, and infos!

It really helps a lot and lets keep doing it.

I will keep walking and thanks for always being here!

I am sure good things will come back to you like boomerang.

Oh Lord, congrats!

I'm a Sept 2017 filer too.. I just don't know why they took so long to send RFE to me unto 01.24.2019 and still didn't receive it!!! This is frustrating.

Please what can I do? I received an update on 3/16/19 that a mail has been sent to me requesting for additional evidence. On 3/25/19 I received another update that said mail was returned as unable to deliver. The issue is that USCIS has not updated my address. I have sent the AR-11 more than 3 times to Vermont now. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem as you. It is sooo frustrating. I'm thinking to contact the congressman?
I requested a change of address over a year ago and they updated until a year later (they mailed the prima facie extension, that's how I know) but they still haven't sent a RFE again...

This attorney had told me I was not elegible to apply for EAD until they approved my VAWA, so I didn't for almost 6 months after I applied VAWA 😱 my abuser is a USCS and I already had a pending i-485 and epired EAD. The only useful info has been this website that I thank God for.
