Nothing to worry about, like in my case they asked me for my Divorce Decree others have been Birth Certificates or Police Clearance Letters... all depends what are they missing sometimes is only transition of a document.

Morning all VJ's
I am GC holder after my VAWA approved last year 2018. Sent my I-824 to USCIS last month to bring my kids abroad but no reply from them at all.

Am i fine with 3 weeks no receipt, email or text ?

 

Can anybody guide me the steps of that as the USCIS don't give any information over phone

You already got it right the first time dear..it's a psychological evaluation. If he knows what it's for and has done it before, thrn he definitely knows how to prepare the report. This is an important document crucial to vawa case. Make sure it's detailed as Sandra always advices. Need anything let us know here.😊 good luck.

I was also asked for additional evidence. It's not a bad thing..it only means they need additional evidence for you to meet the vawa criteria which often leads to an approval. Be calm though..they might just need good moral character clarification..or more evidence of good faith marriage or that you and your spouse resided together or maybe additional proof that you suffered abuse. Let us know when you get it to know specifically what they are asking for.

Ok great. And cheer up while you wait. Easier said than done I know😂 you will be fine. I was asked to proove good moral character, good faith marriage and shared residence...I thought I had come to the end of the road but it was approved.😊

how do you get the proof of good moral character? For good faith marriage, i have friends and family that can help me with that  and i think for the shared residence how do you get that i mean i was paying for all the bills all the time?

I have sent my EAD renewal application to Vermont and it’s 2 weeks since it was delivered to them and I still didn’t get receipt yet. How long are people usually waiting these days for receipts

If you were paying for the bills it doesn't show co-mingling of finance..except perhaps you have both of your names on the receipts..our former landlord wrote me a letter confirming we both resided together also i got affidavit from friends and family..good moral character from my country my mum helped me..

idk about the landlord because he was never officially on the lease because of his credit, but friends and family can confirm that we have lived together will that work?

Sure it should..because I had to get affidavits from friends and family..and my landlord..everyone's case is different..depending on the officer handling your case as well..some are harder to satisfy than others..especially as they use their discretion..pray for favour. Submit all you can and ask God for intervention.
