you won't get in trouble... you are not undocumented. read the info on uscis, don't take my word for it.... You would however pay a lot of tuition perhaps... look into a possibility of getting FAFSA, it can be done, maybe it was after 360 approval, i dont remember exactly. read the FAFSA info

You're right..speaking from experience! It's cheaper when you're a citizen or lpr! Phew! God help us 💰 🏧

Yes, do that! don't loose time, even id you take one class at a community college! 

study on your own if you absolutely cannot get funds...

So many more sources online. Youtube has a lot of university open courseware channels, UC Davis, UC Berkely, Math professors, Physics at MIT and so much more. Private message me if you need some guidance, I can try help! BUT KEEP WORKING ON YOUR EDUCATION, ALWAYS!! By the time you will have your I485, you will be ready for a career, have more skills!

You can go to school regardless of your status, as long as you shell out the $$$$

 

Were you a student at a university before this? Have you reached out to the admissions office at the school? Remember, you have applied for 360, you are not undocumented... you have no reason to be scared of asking university/student affairs/admission office. 

 

Everyone's situation is unique, general status is "in process of obtaining immigration benefits", broadly speaking.

Not sure how I was insensitive here ? 

We all are abused victims here ... NONE of us have the luxury to even breathe without being scared , threatened and intimidated . But we are hoping to build a life towards a knowing what normal can be ... while waiting for vawa to approve we can work and maybe think of going back to school to make us eligible for work . Money is 10 times more if we are not LPR or Citizens hence I asked the question how do we navigate this : no I don’t have the money to go to school , however but I wanted to get out of an abusive situation and go back to school to boost up my self worth and probably a future while I wait 2 years for the vawa .

I would like to apologise to both of you..let's keep it peaceful here..I'm sure dreamer didn't mean it the way you took it..dreamer is one of the wonderful and helpful people here..ma'am I'm sorry if you feel some type of way! Let's focus on the way forward. We all need to win! Lord knows we been through so much. Godbless us all🙏

Its alright, no worries. It's just that Lately there have been users complaining that no one wants to  reply to their message. This community is so supportive and positive, I have read all 12 threads, this never happened before, not that i saw from what i read. Its one of the few places where you can get genuine answers and knoweledge. this is where I learned about VAWA, I did not even know I had a way out of the hell I was in... so I got a bit mama bear 😇

 

Look at the other reply I wrote above. There are plenty of resources of there!  What is your line of study? I can maybe give you specific ideas.

Good evening guys, finally i received a RFE  and i finally gather the required documents and will send the tomorrow, hopefully  my case will be approved and that nightmare will be over. Also want to say thank you to all of you for all the support and all your help and advice. Everyone here is an amazing person, thank you guys.

ah...  written word can sometimes lack the nuance of a actual conversation... the tone and the body language etc.. 

 

But do look into the links I shared. without 360 approval and funds, this is the best way out.

Hi folks .. 

any 2018 filers here ? 

I got my first EAD Combo card 3 months after i sent my package in May 2018 , 

Expired May 2019 , i sent another application for renewal 2 weeks ago and i got the receipt a week ago . 

I also received my first prime facia April 2019 which is valid for 180 and says also if i didn't get a decision before 180 days .. they will send me automatic extension for more 60 days . 

 2018 filers Could you please share your timelines for motivations .. any RFE ?
