I just received today my work authorization under c31 with my fingerprint on it.🎊🎊

It will expire in one year. I waited for a long time. I got a denial once for not supplying my background from my home country and here in USA.  I am April 2017 filer. I will put my timeline below. Can anybody tell me what’s going to happen next in my case? I believe my other work authorization was under c9. What does the c31 means? Does that show vawa will get approve or not?

    •    05/22/2019

We ordered your new card.

The most common scenario is that the cardholder was "sponsored" for permanent residence by a U.S. employer or relative, such as a spouse. In this case, an H-1B alien can apply for an adjustment-based EAD when the "sponsor" files the petition. The category in this case is C09.

This is because we are family base because were marry to our ex-abusers which are USC 

 

C31 Category means work authorization base don a VAWA self-petition and the other means based on Deferred Action Status.

Because we applied thru I360/Vawa

 

After Vawa Approval comes I485 Interview 

some people get Courtesy Letter asking for “x” document to present on Interview most common they request the I693 Medical.

 

It takes average 3-5 months to get CL or 8-12 months to get Interview Notice.

Again some get CL others not so don’t be surprise, who knows why?!
