Congratulations to all new approval and new GC, roms, stillwinning and others I forget to mention their names.

guys please your contribution will be appreciated  to the following questions.

1) my prima facie for a year duration expires, my believe is that it’s automatically renewed or do I have to request for a new one?

2)my case is now a year older,I don’t want to waste anytime and want to hasten Vermont on my case, when can I involve my congressman or senator (is it anything from 14month upward pls correct me )?

Thanks guys

Thanks for the Approvals to all!

I never got PF but I know through reading USVJ that some get an automatic renewal others don’t but I will suggest you to request the renewal 3 months before it expires.

Once you Vawa is approved they will

send you an EAD valid for 1 year (Vawa takes 14-18 months sometimes 24 months to get approved)

overall is a waiting time from the time you applied to get GC of 24-33 months, do your math from the time you got your packet in.

Best! 🇺🇸💫

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

@FridayGirl@69 I believe they are talking about vawa approval! 😀 it's one step at a time! They're waiting to get their petition approved!

😮 I thought the were approved already so trying to cheer them that is not so out of normal timeline, 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😐

i agree with you that’s it is along time if they haven’t got their approval 😬

I hope @ATLANTA1 and @Ahmad contact the Congressman Local Office.

Tha la for the correction @Stillwinning!!!😊 See you in 6/15 😍💫

@sandranj your attention and expertise is needed here! Be rest assured that if anyone has an answer to your querry they will proffer solutions/suggestions! I also suggest you make it a little bit clearer! what I can deduce from your post..you may be getting the EAD after your vawa is decided! But if you filed EAD c9 category from your 1485 petition you will get the EAD however from your post..you said your spouse withdrew it..so you may be getting c31 category when your vawa is adjudicated! Don't take my words solely! Hopefully the attorney comes to the rescue as she's more knowledgeable in legal matters! But be rest assured you're in the right place where you'll learn alot as we do on a daily, and gain valuable info to help put your mind to rest! 😊 FYI Vawa is currently taking anywhere from 16 through 24months to be decided! Patience is highly needed!

Hi Everyone !
So my VAWA was filed in December 2017.

the case processing times of the uscis website shows "receipt date for a case enquiry-june 23,2017"
i see some of you who filed later than this date are already getting the approval notices.
Please throw some light.Highly appreciate each and every member of this group posts.
