Ok got it! Thanks for the explanation, I somehow thought these are identical. I will share my N400 interview experience later this week. I got my green card last year with the waiver approved without an interview. I talked to a lawyer about the interview on that and I still feel maybe they didn't even look at my file somehow because my spouse had contacted DHS, USCIS and what not to get me deported and I was totally expecting an interview, however, lawyer told me that they must have looked at the file but didn't require an interview based on evidence submitted.

Anyways, will update you all what happens in the N400 interview because I had a tough time finding anyone describing their interview experience related to this (citizenship interview on the basis of green card obtained after extreme cruelty waiver approval).

Yes if the extreme cruelty evidence you submitted with your I-751 form were credible to USCIS they will just send you your Green Card, but if they had have any doubts they would’ve request an interview all depends on the Officer and the evidence submitted!!! But congratulations!!! and good luck on you N400 interview

What do I need to do if I feel threatened by by wife. She called me unexpectedly today asking where I was and cursing on the phone. Something don’t feel right, I feel it in me.

She moved out of our house after we had a big fight and made a statement saying she’ll ruin my life. She took the keys and I’ve changed the locks. I don’t want to file for a restraining order cause the court has to let her know I filed for one. Am yet to file my Vawa cause am still putting my documents and attorney fees together at the same time attending counseling. My wife is very unpredictable and am scared cause I walk alone from work and stay alone now since she moved out. I don’t want to break my lease and move out cause we all know what happens when one breaks their apartment lease in America.

Hey..I thought by now you would have filed that restraining order we talked about the last time😏 if you feel threatened in anyway..you need to do just that! That should fix that situation! But if you still feel you do not need to file that..then by all means move away! Block all contacts with and from her! You need to be proactive about your safety! You seem to be taking it lightly..not a smart move! Safety first! You need to be in one piece to to start all over again..and move on!

I’ll look into the restraining order and file that. Thank you so much for your input.

I understand your fear about the restraining order. I’m dealing with the same thing. I went to the courthouse and when they said I would have to stand in court next to him I knew that he would came after me after that. The restraining order is not forever. I did however moved out with my daughter so my husband doesn’t know where I am.

Talk to your landlord, see if he/she will let you move out early. But if you are feeling in danger, find a new place and break your lease. Think about your safety and sanity first!

Hello everyone, I have applied for VAWA (360,485 and 765 forms) in Nov 2018 and got primafacie in Dec 2018 and fingerprints in Jan 2019. Do any of you have similar timelines and waiting for EAD card? It has been 5 months already since primafacie date and still waiting.... I am in a financial crisis and waiting to work....Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks.

Hi, I’ve applied on Sept2018. Haven’t received any news since I got the PF. I know how you feel. It’s tough! Hang on.

In my understanding No... If you are a victim of extreme cruelty and you already have your Conditional Green Card, you probably Submit I-751 with a domestic Violence waiver.... When you file this Form you need to also sent all the proof of Extreme Cruelty abuse you suffered along with Proof that you entered your marriage in good faith, this is why you are having an interview, you must also take all the proof to that interview to support your claim of the abuse and bonafide and maintain your Residency Status (green card) .. Difference from VAWA most applicants don't have a green card yet we sent all the abuse  proof to Vermont to be evaluated and finally approve by them, and than we apply for Adjustment of Status to obtain Green Card...

Please Yes share your experience on your Removal Conditional GC, interview base on Extreme Cruelty....

Me....

Hi, I’m in NYC too. We all should meet up one day♥️

Call the police! Go to let hem know he is harassing you and do not hesitate to take action!

start recording her conversations and save all voice mails for your case!!

1st your safety!

I-130 is filed to establish that a valid relationship exist between a USC or LPR  in our case is the first phase for an Spouse petition.

You cannot convert an I-130 to I-360 (the conversion only happens if the petitioner died and the beneficiary became a Widow than will be automatically converted and proof have to be submit like a death certificate, this happen to a friend of mine) but for VAWA petitions you can just transfer or use the priority date, Your I-485 is not base on you I-130 anymore because the family relationship  does not exist anymore , you will move forward I-485 now with Vawa, but please make sure your I-485 is not denied, and is really on hold. Contact USCIS to verify and keep checking I-485 online status.

Is it true uscis as no access to pending i-485 once i file for vawa
