How long is renewal taking from Vawa office? I'm getting ready to send my EAD renewal. I hope it doesn't take more than 6 months.

Vermont is taking 4.5-6.5 months to process EAD,... But if you renew your EAD before expiration date, you will get an 180 days extension (6 months) you can still work and renew your DL until your received the actual EAD card on hand.

Thank you so much. Should I also send a copy of my EAD? Is the latest form the same I765 on USCIS website?

Yes in the USCIS website you will find the latest version form here is the link: https://www.uscis.gov/i-765   in the I-765 instruction will tell you what you need to send in the renewal, and yes send the copy of your current EAD, 2 style passport photo, your I-485 Receipt copy I also sent a copy of my I-360 too everything with the complete I-765 form.

Just bring original documents such as passport, birth and marriage certificates ,divorce decree,if any,and documents that you submitted to prove a bonafide marriage. Some officers ask to see the documents showing that you entered into marriage in good faith.Bring your last EAD as well.

@Roms2017 calm down, the most difficult part is done which is Vawa approval, interview is only a bureaucratic processing so you will be fine and laughing once you get your final step 🇺🇸💫

@JJ_1017 is tomorrow too so I wish you both a smooth interview.

Hi folks ..

i hope every thing is okay for every one of you ..

iam a February 2018 filler .. i got my EAD May 2018 , which iam renewing now ..

but i didn’t get any update on my i360 since i field  NO RFE ..,, i didn’t even get the prime facie..  DEEP SILENCE

i used my card twice and travelled to my home country the first time i stayed outside for 40 days .. and the second time i stayed 5 months outside the states .. i was paroled without any problem before my card expires in one week ..

Today i was sitting with my lawyer to renew my EAD .. and he surprised me that he received a prime facie April 2019 ( last month ) while i was outside the states !!

I usually don’t get any mail from USCIS every thing goes to my lawyer for security purposes ..

Is this normal !! Because we didn’t ask for it and it’s been 15 months now since we filed !!

It’s valid for 180 days and it says it’s gonna be automatically extended for more 60 days if  they didn’t take action during 180 days validity of it ..

just need to know what’s going on !!
