He is not supposed to put on hold the I 130, only the i485, but unfortunately most cases they deny it, I went through that and they gave me the on spot denial and I had to wait for my vawa approval to get put in another i485

Wow...so they denied your i485 too and you filed another i485..is it until your vawa was approved you filed another i485,and have you been scheduled for another interview based on that recent i485 you filed..please could you just tell me your timeline starting from when you submitted your i130..and your present status cause I’m just confused ..can I file another i485 now or I wait till it shows denied on the Uscis site ..cause now it’s only saying we didn’t show up for the interview that’s what is saying now on the Uscis website..please tell me about your timeline

If your abuser is a USA Citizen you can file a new i485 and i765 (EAD) now and send along copy of your i360, if you cannot afford the fee send i-912 for fee waiver.

but if the abuser was a LPR than you need to wait for VAWA to be approve to File I485 and wait for a priority date to be current as well to do so; Unless like my case my lawyer request my I130 priority date to be use for I360.

hello Everybody, I just checked my status now after going for interview yesterday alone to tell the officer that I was abused by my wife and I gave the officer all the proofs she asked for ..all the proofs of the abuse and she still insisted that she will deny the i485 cause my wife wasn’t there ..I begged her that she should hold the i485 till my i360 is adjudicated but she said NO...so as I got home yesterday I saw on my status that we didn’t appear for the i485...now today I checked the status again it says they request for initial evidence was mailed out that if I didn’t receive it before April 11 I should go to the Uscis website to request for a copy of notice there ...could this be a mistake or they want some evidence from me ..what evidence do they need is it to hold the i485 or to approve my green card have never heard of this kind of scenario before please experienced fellas should put me through

Hello Everyone!

Im a March 2017 filer. My vawa was approved Sept 2018. I just found out today my interview is next Tuesday.

I'm going by my self. Any suggestion on what to take (besides  the bona fide marriage proof, shared residence and all of this) and how to prepare?

Thank you!!

After 8 months, since July 08 2018 I have applied for my ead and nothing yet. So far I talked with my congressman on my city and the secretary so far told me my expedite service made on December was rejected. However, she also said this, but so far I dont know if this means my case will be approved or denied sooner or later. So far I have wanted to work so bad to pay my finances but most places want a ssn but yet I have to wait. I hope this will mean something for me sooner or later 😔

To be honest I explained to her but she didn’t even feel my pains ..she was telling me that she didn’t hear the story of my abuser that it’s only my side of view am talking about that’s why I called her an abuser ...I showed her picture of where she injured me,she still don’t even feel concern ..she’s trying to tell me that I’m lying after showing her police report ...all her gestures shows that she’s racist ..I know blacks and whites we are all one but when you see someone who discriminate you trying to tell you that you are not truly abused then you know that they are doing that kind of thing to their husbands too,but God is higher and superior than her and she will be disappointed soon cause I was truly abused..I told him to call the bank we both went to that my wife punched me there but she deafened her ears to that..I’m not even making it compulsory for her to hold it ,what I’m trying to say is that she’s not even feeling what am feeling, just saying nasty words that’s why I called her abuser and a devil ...i wasn’t even scared yesterday or felt bad when she said she will deny the case..that’s her problem not my problem...life continues....

I would suggest you calm down and get some help for your mental sanity, the only office that has jurisdiction to adjudicate abuse is Vermont and not your local office, so that means they are not particularly trained on such cases, it's their duty to do their work accordingly. And for your information any case be it real or not real is considered fraud until proven otherwise that's all. So you did your part let Vermont do their part. And for your denied case you can apply for a new one and life goes on.....

Mine was denied in june 2017 and I just applied another on in never 2018 after my vawa approval and so far I got my work authorization and parole
