Are you using an attorney? If yes they can help you with the change of address or you could do it by yourself..I've never changed address with vermont only NBC and they duplicate letters sent to my lawyer and send to me too..I hope someone with compassion will chip in and come to the rescue!🙏

I do not have an attorney. I was able to file myself of course with the help of @sandranj .... I'm just so worried that the new people who live there will just throw away my letters.

The USCIS webpage doesnt even show that they have my petition, they are not updating my case in the webpage.  So I wont be able to see anything about my case.

Someone help me :(

The Apartment people wont allow me to renew my lease. They are basically kicking me out at the end of June.....

Trust me Stillwinning, If I could stay I would..............

WRITE A NOTARIZED LETTER TO THE VERMONT OFFICE AND ALSO CHANGE WITH THE USPS. INITIALLY,I WAS GETTING MY MAILS FORWARDED TO MY NEW ADDRESS BY USPS AND EVENTUALLY USCIS SENT TO MY NEW ADDRESS AFTER THEY UPDATED MY ADDRESS. THOUGH I DIDNT GET ANY RESPONSE FROM VERMONT ABOUT MY ADDRESS CHANGE IN A LETTER BUT THEY DID CHANGE. SO DONT PANIC IF YOU DONT GET A RESPONSE FROM THEM

It's ok..what about what TBoneTX asked you to do? TBoneTX stated that closest is not the case...so you might want to get the one directly in charge of your borough😊

Yes thats what i did. The link gave me my district congress person after inputing my address.

Thank you so much. I did some tests yesterday and will go back to see her next week to have another session and she will write the report then.

I sent my package this morning.

When I send the letter to the local office, is there a specific format and I need to write the letter or just explain the situation and send a copy of the vawa receipt?

Thank you!

Explain that your AOS was denied but you are a victim of abuse and you filed form l360(Vawa) and ask for the Service not to issue the NTA because you filed form l360 on xxxx(submit proof that you filed vawa)and mail the letter to the local office that denied your AOS.Put your case number of course .

Someone here submitted additional documents to Uscis and she said  that I didn’t mention she had to put the case number ...REALLY???

Go to infopass to confirm if they changed your address.

Hey everyone!

I'm moving in July and I'm really scared that I wont be able to change my address with USCIS.

I have heard so many stories where they do not update the address.

What do you reccomend?

Submitted a notarized letter asking to change the address ,wait 10 days and go to infopass to make sure they changed your address.

😂😂 then don't move! LOL anyway if you do..you must update your address! Both electronically and write to Vermont! Seriously choose any of the above options!😏😊

Vawa petitioners CANNOT change the address electronically ,it must be a NOTARIZED LETTER.

DO they send you notification that they changed it?

My field office to do infopass is like 3-4 hours away and I have no transportation.

What about after VAWA approval changing the address for the I-485 that has been with the local office pending? When I changed my address last year my attorney did it with them and the message on the USCIS website says: On (date) your request to change your address, referral number ... was completed. Does that mean they changed it?
