And also even they increased the processing times it doesn't mean that that's how long it will take for your own case..it's just estimated! Some folks here were approved in 14months others less than the stated processing times..and more for some of us..myself included! Look on the bright side and pray the officer working on yours covers it quickly..🙏 there are folks from Feb and March 2017 still waiting..not to scare you..but give you a wider view of how USCIS operates!😊

Why the USPS could not deliver the RFE? If your address was correct when they mailed the RFE and for some reason the USPS did not deliver the letter then you will be able to argue with them why you could not answer  before April 26, but if your address was incorrect or you moved and you did not inform USCIS then they will not accept your RFE answer after the due date because the regulations state that the RFE the response will be considered timely filed if it is received no more than three days after the due date.

 

 

Address was correct and I had received a PF extension just a week before they sent the RFE. I have no idea why USPS could not deliver but I'm glad to hear at least I'll be able to argue. Thank you so much.

I forgot to ask is this EAD c31 or c9? I just picked up my approval notice from my attorney and was going through it..it says in the deferred action grant page that I-765 under c31 category should be filed with Vermont! ......And oh😊 it feels good to hold my approval notice and deferred action grant in my hands!🙏

i filed under category c9. I know anything concerning vawa should file with Vermont, but since I am waiting on i485 approval now, I am not sure where to send it. In the past I filed with Vermont even though it was under category C9.

Thanks dear! Oh wow! This is a little tricky and brings us to the same spot..well I will still go for NBC only because they now have jurisdiction over your case when your file was transferred back to them and to seal it, you've had your interview! NBC it is! Except Sandra or anyone else who can prove otherwise😊

But guess what? Chances are that before you even get half way to renewing and getting the ead, your greencard will be ready...but still go ahead..how long since your interview has it been now? In all it's on it's way🙏

I signed the forms in my congressman yesterday. Early morning today USCIS sent another automatic email that "my case is reviewing". Not sure if these two are related🤔🤔🤔?

Maybe..maybe not..but yes it's an automated update..and yes they are reviewing your case! You just have to wait and see what's next! I remember my former congresswoman of my previous borough..she used to call USCIS directly in front of me and they give her instant update..but the new one (senator) she evidently email them..or so..hence my guess is if they made a direct call/contact, it may be related..😊

Hey dear..did you try to google who your representative is in charge of your location? Don't know if they use the term borough over there but we do over here in NYC.
