Once USCIS approves vawa, does it help having a Priority Date from I-130 application even if it got revoked?

I've asked same question before in a different phrase..but the answer I keep getting is that following vawa approval the i485 gets into a queue waiting for AOS! I wish the priority date is followed then I'm sure I would get a date for next week! LOL but obviously the above seems to be the case..don't you think?😏

@Dharmaraj correct! If you fall into that category do not fly out  of the Country until you get you GC.

Read below the AP Document says it very clear!

They allow VAWA petitioners to reenter because the requirement for a 3/10 bar absence DOES NOT apply to VAWA ok.

Good afternoon guys,

I am desperate for any help or feedback for my current situation...

I'm an August 2017 filer. USCIS sent an RFE on Jan 26, 2019 that "could not be delivered by USPS" I sent the letter requesting USCIS to send it again and I also contacted my congress woman in Feb without an answer.

Now I received it today only to find out this RFE expired April 26 😱Can somebody tell me what to in this case? This is a good moral character RFE and they want a letter from the country I resided in so it will take me at least 1 week to gather all police clearance letters from the countries and states I've lived in.

Thanks for reading, any help would enormously appreciated. 🙏

Why the USPS could not deliver the RFE? If your address was correct when they mailed the RFE and for some reason the USPS did not deliver the letter then you will be able to argue with them why you could not answer  before April 26, but if your address was incorrect or you moved and you did not inform USCIS then they will not accept your RFE answer after the due date because the regulations state that the RFE the response will be considered timely filed if it is received no more than three days after the due date.

Just a quick question to those who got their interviews, what time do one start counting the time after your i485 is transferred to your local office or when it hits Vermont for those who applied after vawa approval?

You count when the local office receives the I-485.

I went for my i485 interview without my wife to explain what I went through in my marriage if she could help me hold the i485 but she said she’s gonna deny ..I begged her but she insisted that she will deny it ..and when I got home I saw no one appear for interview on my status ,then second day I saw request for initial evidence..I wasn’t even expecting anything again cause she said she will deny it since my wife wasn’t there with me ..then I responded the rfe and they didn’t updated my status that they have received it ..anytime I call Uscis they refuse to give me information on my i485 to see if they have received the rfe..I sent another rfe again on 31st of April...and on the 1st of May they said they transferred my case to another office for jurisdiction..what could this mean ..though they have sent letter to back it up ,I’m yet to receive it ...and can I renew my work permit with this showing on my status

You said "I sent another rfe again on 31st of April." What do you mean by this?

What did VSC ask you in the RFE?

Hello guys, please I need help.

I am pretty desperate, Idk what to do......

I've applied for an SSN card a month ago as I got my EAD category C31 through approved VAWA.  I have my approval notice and deferred action as well.

Today I've called Social Security Office to verify why is taking them so long and I've been told that they made 3rd attempt already to confirm my immigration status and they haven't gotten any response. In addition to my frustration lady on a phone said, if they won't get any response by the end of this week they will mail me a letter where it will be said that they couldn't verify my status and I am not eligible for SSN. 😶  I mean, how come???????  Really?!!!!

I have taken a job offer already and can't set up a payroll because I don't have SSN.

Has anybody experienced something like that?

Ask your congressperson to inquire on your behalf.

I meant I resent the rfe they asked for ..now I received the letter that they have forwarded my case to Vermont ..that they are now in charge of my i485...I got the letter yesterday ...but the letter went to my former lawyer that I used for my marriage based ...I don’t want my letter to go to his place anymore..I have another lawyer handling my case now ...

It does not exist fee to renew the  EAD using the same category but we don't why USCIS keeps returning form I-765 if the person didn't submit the fees or the I-912, and I saw people submitting the fees to renew and then they returned the fees. Go figure.

@HolaBola31

@sandranj

1: when I renew , I didn’t pay . Uscis return to me . Request I pay or file I-912

2: when I pay $495, uscis return to me again.   They said should be pay $410

3: I was resubmit again 4/23/2019 sent and paid $410, not yet get any receipt. They not yet deduct my check .

so I am also confused

Is it possible to make enquires through infopass or congressman before traveling out with parole to get a stamp on the international passport so as to increase confidence before going out of USA. Someone suggested it and I thought of bringing it up. No knowledge is a waste. @sandraj to the rescue.

Hello everyone, I’ve been a VJ member for sometime but I haven’t been really active, I got my EAD yesterday from my lawyer for my I-130. Here is my timeline;

Congrats you are approved. You made a mistake in your comment. It’s I360 and not I 131. Waiting for the last lap.
