Congratulations!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

@Stillwinning!!!😊 @FridayGirl@69 And everyone else: my interview got scheduled!!

Timeline:

Dec 2016 I-130, I-485, I-765

June 2017 Vawa

Ago 2017 re applied for I-485 (previously filed was denied due to abuser withdrawal)

Nov 2018 Vawa approval, local office received the file update (all in the same day)

Dec 2018 courtesy letter

May 2- interview scheduled for May 31.

Odd facts:

On my Vawa approval, it lists the date of my denied 485 (Dec 2016).

My local office is one of the slowest in the country- 19-21 months wait.

Yayyy!!! Congrats! This is amazing!!! Alright go get your stuff! You know the one! 😉 everything happened pretty fast considering you mentioned your local office is one of the slowest...that means anything is possible!!! Wish you victory!

Guys, I have big news!

I went to Texas last week. It worried me a bit to fly there, as it is not a sanctuary state. I was in the middle of the concert of one of my favorite artists, Zach Williams, thanking God for everything He has been doing in my life. Then I see on my phone screen a call from my immigration lawyer. I got so worried, for a minute I thought it was bad news, but I answered the call. I could barely hear anything, but it was amazing news! My interview has been scheduled for May 31. I broke in tears, it was completely surreal! I still can’t believe the way I got the news. God is truly amazing. I’m in cloud 9 🙏🏼

So happy for you! May God go with you! It is settled!🙏

Good afternoon guys,

I am desperate for any help or feedback for my current situation...

I'm an August 2017 filer. USCIS sent an RFE on Jan 26, 2019 that "could not be delivered by USPS" I sent the letter requesting USCIS to send it again and I also contacted my congress woman in Feb without an answer.

Now I received it today only to find out this RFE expired April 26 😱Can somebody tell me what to in this case? This is a good moral character RFE and they want a letter from the country I resided in so it will take me at least 1 week to gather all police clearance letters from the countries and states I've lived in.

Thanks for reading, any help would enormously appreciated. 🙏

Get what they are asking for, and send it with a copy of the USPS notification to show the first deliver attempt could not be delivered to you. Also write a letter explaining why was the delay on responding the RFE, and wait for the answer. Hope for the best.

As a matter of fact I would be so happy if I can just get my green card so I can be free and so whatever I want with my life ..

Your I-485 was transfer probably to Vermont since your file for I-360, This is good news, it means is on hold and the officer did not denied..... You will received a transfer notice indicated why and where it was transfer.
