Just send a copy of your I-485 & I-360 with  you I-765 renewal form. Lately USCIS has rejected several I-765 renewal and they are asking to paid the Fee, which you don't need to if you already paid the I-485 fee when you applied, just sent it to be on the safe side.. They will send you I-797C notice of action once they received it.

Can you explain about the fee? How does it possible? My I-485 (through the marriage) is still pending. I sent VAWA April 11. And didn’t get receipt number yet.

And I need renew my I-765.

Should I pay 495$ or I don’t need to pay?

Thank you for your reply!

Patience is key dear..no need to get scared..not everyone is getting RFEs..only when required. Some get approved faster than others..depends on the complexity of your case or the pace of the officer working on it. Relax God is in control!🙏

When did you get your receipt number after sending it?

Guys! Can you share you Sent/receipt number timeline please. I mean who applied this year.

I asked it before. I just so nervous about it.

attorney who is helping me she call to USCIS and rescheduled my interview which was April 9.

She rescheduled it for May 13.

And now situation is the next:

i have my interview May 13 but I don’t have  receipt number.

It make me scare what will be next.

Attorney called them today and they told her that they have no record about my case.

I have just USPS tracking number.

Please help with your opinion.

If you don't received your I-360 Receipt before your interview, your lawyer can ask the officer to give you 30 days to submit the I-360 receipt. And explain you already submitted show them I-360 file copy, and USPS tracking number, The officer may want to do this and later you will received a  RFE  requesting the I-360 receipt or he could just denied your I-485 and your current EAD will be revoke as well,. If this happens, don't worry you can re-file I-485 / I 765 to Vermont office along with I-912 Fee waiver.

I think is best for you to wait for your interview before submitting your EAD renewal, because you don't have I-360 receipt yet. Vermont haven't generated one yet and is not showing in the USCIS system when you lawyer called.  May 13th is 10 days from now your lawyer may receive it  by them.

i received my I-360 receipt after 30 days.

You don't need to paid the fee for I-765 renewal, if you have I-485 pending. But i suggest you to wait for your I-360 Receipt, So you can submit a copy of the I-360 and a copy of your I-485 if is HOLD by USCIS pending I-360 adjudication, together with I-765 form and all the requirements.

Hello,

I’m so glad I found this forum. I’m about to apply for vawa and have some questions. A little background, meet my husband in 2015. 2017 we got married. There was a lot of abuse in our relationship both physical and emotional but I kept telling myself that it would get better. Well things only got worst. We had our interview in April and got a paper saying it was held for review. he attacked me and my daughter after the interview so I left the house and filed for a divorce. I’m staying at my friends house and haven’t seen him since, he hasn’t been served yet with the divorce papers because nobody can find him. Well, 2 days ago I got a denial letter saying that is was denied because my husband withdrew the application. I have my package almost ready for vawa but my appointment for the phycological evaluation is next week and it will take about 15-20 days to be ready. My question is, should I send the package without it just so I don’t get a NTA and don’t have anything pending? Or should I wait to send with the evaluation risking to get a NTA before everything is filled?

I think I saw a post that I can write a letter asking them not to send the NTA, does anyone know about this?

I’ve meet with an attorney but she charges $12K and there is no way I can afford that. The probono from the catholic place had no idea about vawa and was googling it while I was talking to her so I’ll just do it myself.

Thank you!

Hello Ana, I'm sorry for what happened but God will make a way for you and your little joy. Hope you have EAD based on your previous case. You have many resources here, everyone will contribute what they experience in the process. sandraj will help you as she does to everyone. what I suggest is 15-20 days isn't a lot wait for your evaluation. You should provide every evidence as much as you could. well established document will benefit. May God guard your heart and patiently wait for the approval.

God be with you and your daughter!

Hey, everyone! I seem to be going mental here since my VAWA application but then I see people who filed since 2017 receiving RFEs 👀

here is my timeline so far

I360, 765 and I485 filed together. Received January 2019

Fees waived January 2019

Biometrics February 2019

March 2019 received Prima Facie

my current work authorization is expiring soon, everytime I check online there is no update. Only says Fees Waived. I was happy things moved so quickly at first but now I’m just a nervous wreck wondering and every day feels like a month.

I submitted my package ( all 4 forms) in January 2019, and yesterday my card (EAD C09) went into production. I am pretty sure yours is coming soon!

My extension on the previous EAD is expiring in 3 weeks - so I was also quite nervous. However, I am sure yours is on the way! Good luck!!!

hi, the pictures with me and my husband  to prove bonafide relationship have to be printed in colors or can it be just black and white, or it doesn't matter?

I submitted coloured pictures. Don't forget we are submitting our evidences to give the officer a clear image of what happened.

Black and white or color, it doesn’t matter.

I did pictures from courtship all the way to wedding and throughout the years we stayed married.

I have my combo card but it looks like once the AOS id denied the EAD becames void. The phycologist suggested 30-45 days to make the evaluation but my time is ticking now since my I-485 was denied. I’m having nightmares now about immigration Court. My dilemma now is. Do I send a 90% completed application  but before the time frame for NTA or do I risk getting the evaluation done and maybe get placed in removal procedures before!
