duh! sorry i dunno why i thought you were in thailand, but looking at your timeline you are getting fairly close, by now the embassy should have received your petition so you can get to work on packet 3! you could be interviewing by august!!! (fingers crossed).

btw if that's you and your family in your avatar, you are a lovely bunch, cute baby!

ROC Timeline

18 NOV 2010 Sent 1.8lb packet to USCIS in Laguna Niguel (day 1)

19 NOV 2010 Package signed for V SEMEGI (day 2)

24 NOV 2010 Package returned because USC didn't sign petition (day 6)

calendar reset

26 NOV 2010 Package sent out again (day 1)

29 NOV 2010 Package signed for by V SEMEGI (day 3)

29 NOV 2010 NOA1 issued (day 3)

03 DEC 2010 Hardcopy of NOA received (day 7)

07 JAN 2011 Successful walk in biometrics (day 42) original date 1 FEB

01 MAR 2011 Date on Approval notice (although it arrived after the card did) (day 94)

03 MAR 2011 Card received (day 96)

A friend played for the King's Birthday in Bangkok 2 years ago, for 100,000 people. THAT is a big crowd. 10-15K will be the largest live crowd I've played for yet, though.

Sa should have went down to the Embassy to turn in the Packet 3 and ask a few questions today already. I'm waiting to see if that actually transpired... Her birthdy is Aug 2nd, so we are hoping to get her here by then... Its a littel bit of a stretch, though!

5-29 forwarded to Embassy

6-12 interview date set (discovered, rather) ... (still no NOA2)

6-22 email notification of NAO2 for I-130

6-27 email notification of NOA2 for 129F

7-15 Medical appointment - Docs say she has pneumonia and want to run 2 months + $2K USD of tests.

7-19 interview

7-20 informed that she has cleared medical. Documents not yet forwarded to Embassy, they will not release them to her, saying they must deliver the documents themselves. (Not true. many people had their medical papers @ the interview)

7-21 Missed flight

7-25 Docs recieved by embassy, visa all ready to go

7-27 Visa revieved

7-28 ARRIVED IN USA!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

...

waiting for AOS NOA

9-28 5 page RFE sent :(

10-7 RFE recieved

Hey - my petition is currently sitting it the state dept, waiting to wing its way to Bangkok. I am trying to plan about how long it will take to get an interview scheduled? Is it still about 2 months on average? Has the new Phnom Phen Embassy affected wait times?

It takes roughly 1 month for you to get everything done and forwarded to the Embassy and then a week and then Interview in a month from then.

Good luck. I am right in there with you....waiting.........
