Hi everyone!

Nee you guys advice 🙋‍♀️

I and my husband are about to send Form I-130 to USCIS now.

My husband  currently lives in TX and I am still in Tokyo Japan.

After getting signed I-130 and his passport photos from my husband, I am going to combine my I-130a and photos then send it to USCIS.

In this case, which filling address should I use ?? Chicago Lockbox or Phoenix Lockbox??

Of course my husband lives in TX so we put his address in TX on I-130 and actually he lives there not in Japan anymore.

I think I should send Form I-130 to Phoenix Lockbox but i am not 100% sure about this.....😢

It'd be really nice if i could hear your advice & experiences!!

Thank you !!

The I-130 is his petition to sponsor you, so if he lives in Texas, file with the Phoenix lockbox.

Incidentally, I don't think anything bad will happen if you send an application to the wrong location. They will just forward it to the right Lockbox. It just costs you time.

Yes Phoenix Lockbox is the correct one.

Wouldn’t it be easier if your husband mails the form within US rather than you mailing out from Japan?

Definitely at the Phoenix lockbox. If you send it to the Chicago lockbox. Your application will be delayed as they receive more mail and have to further process to route it to the correct lockbox.
