TimsDaisy yes please do not post things just to be silly. We are all trying the best we can and rational discussion is better than sarcasm.

I always hate to post my thoughts because of all the anger, rudeness, and insentivity on this site. But I am always optimistic that cooler and logical heads will prevail.

Search the internet .. it won't take much doing. This is the general consensus of individuals that are changing forums .. the "anger, rudeness, and insensitivity" issues are being brought forward by former members that are actually posting at other forums. I have read more than one time that these members NEVER posted at VJ just for those reasons... you can use the keywords rude and mean as well when searching to yield more results... ;)

Sorry, I'm not understanding?

Captain,

Since someone pointed out a newer members sarcasm .. would you be against the newer members pointing out the same sarcasm (hateful, rude, disrespectful comments) made by the elite members here as well? If it is ok, should the reporting members do it as a post following the comment (as was done here) and then follow up with a PM to you so that you can reply to the post and all can see ??

Thanks,

CB

In other words, you are not the only one that has apprehension about posting here due to the anger, rudeness, and insensitivity on VJ.

Oddly enough, after wading through all these pages, I had to go back to the main forum page to try to find the Embassy Forum that everyone here is talking about. Then I remembered why I never go in there. If the Regional Forum was removed and I had to wade through all the threads which were totally unrelated to Canada in the Embassy Forum I would definitely feel the need to visit other visa sites looking for country-specific information.

Oh! You mean like the rest of us in, say, Europe?

Crocodile Tears.. :crying:

Side note: Why is this allowed to continue?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69879

Yeah, I want to know why people are allowed to post links to other posts. Or is the question why people are allowed to post at all? It's a grey area.

Speaking of grey areas, depending on perspective, something posted ANYWHERE could, in theory, come in handy ANYWHERE else (even on other sites). So, say for example someone posts something in the Russian (stay out unless you have Russian mate because you wouldn't understand) forum, but it just so happens to perfectly fit an answer in the sub-saharan forum.....according to your rules it should be moved there.

The only solution is to have 1 forum that's a catch all, for all possible topics. Have fun!

Disclaimer: I am a smart-a55. Anything I say can and will be used against you in whatever forum I so choose. My posts are based on my own perspective, and should not be taken as anything other than my own opinion. Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, is coincidental. Minimum system requirements are a human brain, version 1.0. Suggested system requirements are a human brain version 1.0 with a sense of humor and a logical thought processor above 1.0 beta. Should not be used by children. Hazardous when wet.

Ok guys this topic is coverd and if pretty much off topic completely. I am going to close it as such but it you want to discuss moving it is ok to open a new thread to logically discuss the topic if it can be rational and well thought out and not the back and forth in this thread.

Ewok and devilette: You both get to put stuff where you want, so you should feel free to ignore my views on thread moving, right? Doesn't hurt either of you, nor does it hurt this thread, nor is it a personal attack, nor does it hinder answering the poster's question.

My comment was hardly off topic. Asking how long LONDON takes to schedule interviews seems like a UK REGIONAL question to me, not that I was going to further address that issue in THIS thread until both of you felt the need to call me out for nothing at all.

Daisy -

It was a passive aggressive comment that took away from the OP's question. This is the foreign emabssy forum, therefore interview questions are appropo here.

And it's about London, so an equal argument could be made that it would be appropriate in the UK regional forum. The OP got his answer. And advice to check out the UK regional forum was entirely on-point as well.

Not everything is about you, d.
