Hello everyone!

Me and my husband were waiting patiently until nothing was ever updated.

Our attorney mailed the case on January 23rd and it was delivered to Chicago Lockbox on January 27th. Still, we didn't get any NOA or text messages or any information on our case when calling USCIS, speaking both to the customer service representative and the officer. Also tried to schedule an infopass but they said that we would get same NO information as on the phone.

We also called the bank to find out if the cashier's check was cashed and one time they said it was cashed on January 30th, the next time they said it is impossible to track the cashier's check.

Me and my husband are extremely worried as it has been 7 weeks since we filed and still no update, no case in the USCIS system.

What should we do? Did anybody have the same situation when filing for AOS in January 2019?

P.S.

I previously had a J-1 visa (not subject to a 2 year restriction), then I applied for an F-1 visa change of status but we got married and filed for AOS while it was still pending. Maybe this is what makes our case acceptance processing longer?
