Entering US via Canada on K1 visa with German passport

Hi all,

 

This might be a somewhat obvious question but just wanted clarifications to avoid any possible issues. Do you foresee any issue with a German national entering the US via Canada on the K1 visa for the first time?  I understand US immigration takes place in Canada so I assume we should give ourselves ample amount of time at the airport prior to the flight. We will be in Canada for a few days to attend a wedding prior to entering the US as she can't enter the US a second time without jumping through hoops.

There should be no issue with an EU citizen. Germany is part of Visa-exempt.

When you enter US POE (port of entry) make sure you give them you K1 package.
