Well i sent off my I-129F and supporting documents today. then I cam home only to see the cover letter sitting on my desk. you can triple check everything and something always happens.

Should I stress about this or will it be ok without ?

I did add sticky notes to all the papers with descriptions.

fingers crossed

If you included the correct fee and the required documents, it will probably be ok..........no use stressing about it......worst case scenario is that they send the entire package back causing a short delay. ..good luck.

yes it had everything correct, just no cover. I looked at USCIS site and it does not mention a cover. Of course it would of been nice to have. But yes everything was down per the guide.

Cover letter is optional. The #1 thing that can turn your 129F around is them not noticing the cheque or cheque being for the wrong amount (even if it's for HIGHER amount -- USCIS doesn't accept tips :) )

You should be fine. Watch your bank account for the charge, if they take your money, NOA1 will follow soon after, and you should settle in comfortably for the "long wait"

Good luck!
