my passport has only one page left??

Hi please can i ask for information,

basically i have just received packet 3 from london embassy,i'm filling out the DS-156 which is asking for passport number.

I want to renew my passport before the interview because its full i only have 1 spare page which already has a visa stuck on 1 side. does the embassy require more pages free?

If i write old number and send it off now it will differ from the new passport number, should i renew pasport then send back forms, but then they say they want 1st forms back asap. i'm stuck.

Also can you actually have the medical same day as your interview, i understand it takes a few days for results, so would it be they would grant your visa providing results came back ok from medial, or is it better just to have medical earlier before a interview date is set.

I hope this doesn't sound to confusing

I believe you can put down your current passport number, and then at the interview you show them your new passport and old one to show them why you issued for a new one.

yeah i thought that too you can add on pages for us passport but not for uk, unfortunalty

As long as you still have one page for them to stamp the visa on you should be ok. They are more concerned with how long your passport is valid for but if you feel happier getting a new passport go ahead and do it. As far as getting the medical and interview on the same day go - the embassy want the medical done before they do the interview and London only do interviews in the morning. If you feel you have special circumstances try emailing the embassy to see if they are willing to accomodate you.

Go ahead and use the current passport number then apply to get a new passport. Take both with you to the interview.

Make sure that you get the new passport back in time!!

As far as your medical question goes, you can't do them same day in London since it takes some time for them to be sent to the Embassy. Since you have your packet 3 you can go ahead and schedule the medical and the results will be forwarded onto the Embassy.
